Perfect, very easy to fit to our C4 Pro
24 March 2024 by Amanda H
Very clear and good volume even at 70mph in the wind, easy to set up, but a little difficult to pair a none SC1 system, but we get there in the end, distance between bikes is not as good as they claim. Would recommend and buy another any day. Happy riding and take care.

Worked for a while

Started to have trouble with this on a long trip, not connecting, not putting calls though and telling me the intercom had failed, returned to SBS who sorted it, so far so good all working as it should

As an intercom and phone answering gizmo it's as good as any, but if your buying mainly to listen to music then you should possibly explore an alternative. No real bass or definition between vocal and various instruments. Too quiet for music but the volume is there for telecoms.

Ultimately discrete comms system
03 June 2022 by Alan E
The hardware fitment is an absolute doddle to fit to the Schuberth C4 Pro Carbon helmet. The challenge is to work out from the unnecessarily over complicated, really awful documentation as to how you begin to set it all up! I could only find instructions regarding pairing the bluetooth comms.....with no instructions (that I could find, anywhere), on how to switch it on first! I found this somewhere on YouTube which simply said hold down the + and - buttons simultaneously, both together, at the same time for 3 secs, and then the system says "Hello" .......NOW you can go thro the comms features which all work as described. Much more effective now its all switched on! Switching off is the same button combination, when the nice lady then says "Goodbye" in confirmation. Easy peasy now! Perhaps I just missed something somewhere???.....but having overcome this initial hurdle, it all works great with excellent clarity and volume. Highly recommended product, but documentation needs some improvement, no regrets, an excellent purchase thanks. SportsBikeShop as brilliant as always .....but we all know that don't we? Thanks guys.....

Works well and a very neat fit

Works well as you would expect from a Sena based comms. Super easy to fit as the Shuberth helmets have speakers and mic pre wired

Good, but doesn't pair with Interphone
19 October 2021 by N P
Very good and excellent how it just plugs and plays, unfortunately though it wouldn't pair (in Universal mode) with my wife's Interphone Sport (which another reviewer did mention to be fair). Usual superb service from SBS.

Great

Bought with c4 pro
Fits into helmet no problem can't even see you have intercom. Once you get to grips with the set up it's fairly straight forward. Pairs with other brands perfectly so can talk with my mate.
The only thing that's tricky is the buttons are small so if you've got winter gloves on your gonna struggle to find them, but if you press the + for three seconds you can give voice commands to Siri

Nice and clear

We purchased a pair for my wife and myself for use with our C4 Pro Carbon helmets. It was a fairly simple process to pair the helmets, connect to the satnav, and also the phones for some music whilst on the road. The app for use on the iPhone works really well for setting up individual preferences. Once you have become familiar with the button locations, your control of the units whilst on the bike is fairly easy. Good system all round and very happy. Normal great service from SBS too.

Communicators are the best listeners.

Listening and communication properly, without frustrating system interruptions, is what makes a trip most enjoyable. The SC1 Standard is amazing in that sense

SC1 Comms fitted to C4 Pro

Not been able to use fully as yet. Connects to the GPS and phone with ease. Installation was a breeze, just plug in and play.
Buttons are a little difficult to reach so setting it up, switching on etc. is best done before putting the helmet on your head. Then the only problem is answering or ending telephone calls, which is problematic with gloves. If you tend to make or receive many calls while riding the optional remote may be worth the investment. I think I'll just ignore incoming calls! Having said that, calls are clear, the microphone allows good reception with little to no wind noise.

Great product

A little expensive, but worth the money. Once the instructions have been understood, pairing with phones, sat.nav. etc was quite straightforward. Volume is excellent from Garmin sat.nav. but I have not tried it with music yet. A little disappointed that a charging cradle is not included in the price as charging using a USB cable is a pain and would be more so if travelling. A bit fiddly to use with gloves.

Neat but a bit fiddly

I am still getting to grips with this, but love the integral design with the C4. No pulling the inners out and routing wires/speakers around. No wires to try to hide away. 10 seconds to fit and away you go. It wouldn't pair with my wife's Interphone, but we have set up using mobiles rather than Bluetooth intercom.Works well with my Garmin Sat-Nav. I find the buttons a bit awkward to reach and operate with gloves, but think that will improve with use.

C4 SC1 Partnership
10 May 2018 by Andy C
Primarily used to take audio instructions from TomTom Rider 450 and listen to music.
Setting up is easy, especially with the iOS application.
Relatively easy to pair devices once the instructions are fully read and understood.
Main complaint is the volume of the music, on max with the Volume Boost enabled you can hardly hear the music during those long boring motorway miles. (I use earplugs, but this should be taken into account by the designers).

Much better system than older system

Easy to use and with none of the hard to hide wires and cumbersome buttons of the older system. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent product fitted in 30 seconds. It works perfectly, pairs with my GPS and phones. Battery life seems really good so far. They are a little expensive but seem to be good quality.

Arrived swiftly. Well done Sportsbikeshop.
Only niggle was trying to find the Schuberth user guide which is really well hidden on the manufacturer's website: NOT on the Schubert App - that doesn't yet exist.
