Customer Reviews for Schuberth C4/R2 SC1 Bluetooth Communication System - Advanced
Should be cheaper
The SCHUBERTH comma obviously fits seamlessly into the helmet. Keeping wind noise down. The controls are fiddly with winter gloves but I'd say they all are. I wish you got a spare battery and charger, instead of having to plug your helmet into a usb. Sound quality is good. Even with helmet face open.. It should be cheaper, you should have the option to buy both as a full header package than buy each individually.Read more
Want a helmet communication, Great bit of kit,
I wanted a device to connect my iPhone 11 Pro to my helmet. I wanted one that worked. The system, microphone, speakers are all "built into the helmet" and are very discreet indeed. 1. It can be paired to another helmet device. This works great rider to rider, and rider to pillion 2. Make and take phone calls. 4. Play music. It probably does a whole lot of other stuff, but, that's the key stuff I use. Great bit of kit, I use it, I like it. It's controlled with buttons the side of the helmet. It also has the option Of being controlled by a "controlled) " that can be fitted to the handle bar. As the system "Is built in" To the helmet, nothing ugly fixed on the side of the helmet, very discreet.Read more
Very pleased with product
Good quality audio, decent range, works well even at high speed. Battery life is good. Altogether a great buy!Read more
Easy to fit in the helmet
Very pleased with the SC1 Advance. Glad I went for the advance as I can now keep up with the news on the radio on the way to work. Many comments mention the difficulty of the controls on the unit but with only 2 buttons I find it fine.Read more
Very easy and fast to fit which is a big positive. The sound quality is good. The controls are a bit fiddly and while I haven't bought the remote, I can see the appeal. The schuberth phone app certainly makes life a lot easier.Read more
Schuberth SC1 Advanced
I bought the SC1 advanced as I'd previously bought a Sena comms system and have always been pleased with its functionality and performance. The system pairs really easily, first time. The addition of the RC4 remote makes things effortless and safer on the go. No issues in recommending.Read more
Very neat and compact.
Bought this along with a Schubert c4 pro. Had one of two issues with stocks and then a dud battery but the staff at the Leeds store soon sorted it out on visiting the store. The unit itself is very compact and therefore cuts down on the wind noise that you can get with units strapped on the side of the helmet. Some review ere found it difficult to use with it being near the back of the helmet but I have had no issues at all. Only two buttons to play with which I found really easy and intuitive to use. Pairing is easy. Just follow the voice prompts and you're done. Only takes seconds to pair phone and gps. The sound quality is Good and although it's not like listening to your Bose system in your car, it's clear and has a good tone. All in all I am very happy with it. Seconds to fit and seconds to pair to your devices. Many thanks to the staff at the Leeds store for sorting out the initial problems. Great helpful staff.Read more
Easy to fit, not so easy to operate
Pros: (+) Super easy to fit in my E4 helmet. (+) Great range. (+) Clear (but not excellent) audio (+) Great all-day battery life. (+) Nothing protrudes from the helmet. (+) Useful phone app. Some cons: (-) Not very easy to use with just two fiddly buttons near the back of the helmet. (-) A lot of complex taps need to be remembered to get the best from this comms pack. (-) Presets for the radio are not very effective. Despite its flaws, this is a great comms package that I am pleased with.Read more
Waiting for communication
Great service, price & delivery. Fits easily but use Sena site to pair with phone after updating. Schuberth site is far from perfect. Only tested radio due to lock down but so far looks goods as totally within the helmet not stuck on the side.Read more
I just upgrade from C3pro to C4 pro carbon and I decided to get the SC1 advance as well. It might be small and easy to fit in helmet and pair with phone and GPS but the controls are way back on the helmet which make it hard to control it. You can get around that by purchasing the remote control but it means more £££. Sound quality is really really poor,!!!! One of the worst sounded speakers that I've ever heard in communication systems, trust me I'm a sound engineer. The SRC that I have in my c3pro is way better sounded system. The microphone is nicely hidden on the right side of the helmet but is not the best. On several occasions the other person couldn't hear clear what I was saying. You pay premium but you get a poor design and awful sounded system.Read more

Schuberth SC1 User Guide
Schuberth motorcycle helmets are, and always have been, developed and manufactured using a quality oriented approach. Since the late 1970's, Schuberth have specialised exclusively in the production of head protection technology, cementing their position today as THE motorcycle helmet specialist. As well as motorbike helmets, Schuberth also design and manufacture helmets for the police, fire service, military and other areas of motorsport, most famously for use in Formula 1. The fact that Michael Schumacher has chosen to work with the brand for so long speaks volumes about its pedigree, and the company's commitment to the development of helmet technology. This commitment is made further apparent by the fact that Schuberth are the only bike helmet manufacturer in the world with their own acoustic and wind tunnels.
