Schuberth C4/R2 SC1 Bluetooth Communication System - Advanced

Very easy installation in my C4 Pro helmet and setup using the app on my phone and pc for a firmware update straight away. So far only used for music and sat nav, but will be using for comms later this year. Sound quality is acceptable, not great and oddly sounds less tinny and clearer when wearing motorcycle specific ear plugs. My only real criticism would be the controls, you have two buttons that do everything. The number of button combinations and timed presses of certain combinations is quite frankly very confusing and poorly thought out, hopefully this will get easier with practice though. I have found it much easier and safer to simply set music and sat nav before moving off and then not touching it when riding as it is too distracting and fiddly. I have only had to charge the system twice so far, but the battery life has been good. Also make sure that the battery cover is clicked back into place properly, as this fell off for me before using it for the first time. Overall I am very pleased with the system and would recommend it.

I had the C3 helmet and 10u comms unit for many years and it work well. The SC1 is very similar and is one of the more no frills SENA systems. It is very easy to install and is up and running in a few minutes. I would recommend you do a firmware update as soon as you are able.
The SC1 connected to my iPhone easily and keeps its connection reliably. The plus/minus buttons are smaller than the 10u and can be a bit fiddly and serious users may wish to buy the remote control. For me, I just use it for satnav and music and it's fine at that level. Sound quality is good and comms with another biker works well.

Received the Comms kit very quickly from SBS and fitted the unit and battery, literally within 30 seconds ! Having previously used the Sena 20s Evo, the Schuberth SC1 is also a Sena device and works flawlessly with my BMW TFT and Nav VI.

A few button pushes and both connections were made to the bike. It could not be easier.

Highly recommended, especially at the current reduced price. Excellent product and excellent service, as always.

I fitted this system to my new C4 Pro helmet. It is extremely easy to fit, unobtrusive and easy to operate. The sound is good and clear. I would highly recommend both this product and Sportsbikeshop.

The system fits into the C4 Pro helmet without a problem. Charging was a bit of a fiddle to begin with, but is made easier with a separate charger and spare battery.
Sound quality is very good, even using Ultimate earplugs. Conection with my phone was simple and the radio works well.

Fitted the system easily although the instructions for operation take a little bit of getting used to. The system works fine but the volume is not very high, definitely not like the Interphone system that I have been using

I've moved to this from my Sena 20s, as I wanted the Schuberth and the fully integrate system is great.
sound - this is exactly the same as the 20s, no better or worse, bass pretty much non existent as usual.
Controls - this is a real flaw of the SC1, it's a little painful to remember the keystrokes, thankfully the app helps out somewhat here.
Considering that you already paid for the speakers etc in the helmet, I think the price here is elevated and a little insulting. I understand it had to be developed specifically for this helmet but it's still as much as a complete 20s.
No issues with SBS of course, their delivery and service are not in question.

Brilliant unit, so easy to install and use

Fitting is superb. Just clicks in. I currently only have the one battery so charging can be a bit awkward at times but I'll likely invest in the additional charger nd battery in the future. Sound wise I have serious earplugs and I get lovely clear sound even with these fitted. Costly, but well worth it.

Excellent, what i was hoping for.

Excellent price and very speedy delivery. System is really well integrated into the helmet. Only complaint is that controls are fiddly and difficult to remember. Otherwise, excellent.
