Dainese Racing 3 D-Dry Textile Jacket - Black / White / Fluo Red

Jacket is of great style & quality which I have come to expect from Dianese products.
The detachable thermal liner offers brilliant warmth when needed without being to bulky.
I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend highly.

Its worth knowing your needs before you purchase a jacket. I wanted a jacket that was sporty, waterproof, cool and warm one i could wear on a mini euro trip. This ticks all those boxes.
I'm 6ft2, muscular build broad shoulders, slim waist and i went for the XL , a perfect close fit, albeit a little short on the arms, but i do have long arms which is why i wear long gloves. Protection is very secure and you feel protected, with its aggressive cut and look.
Albeit this jacket is not necessarily designed for those hot summer days, even with removal liner and all the vents, the built in D-dry prevents any air getting thru, so its more for those sub 24° to those mild to winter days, nights.

I have worn Dainese motorcycle clothing for many years and have always found the design and practicality of their products to be a perfect combination and well worth paying for. This jacket is nicely styled and generally is a good fit, however unlike my previous jacket the collar is a poor fit and lacks the adjustment to close snugly at the neck. In the cold ,wet winter months this is a key requirement for staying warm, dry and confident on a motorcycle in challenging conditions. The cuffs suffer from the same problem and cannot be closed down tightly around the wrist.
A masterpiece of style over substance..... not quite but an irritating short coming in an otherwise very good product.
