Customer Reviews for Oxford Stormseal All Weather Over Trousers - Black
Hard to get on with boots.
These trousers are, well good enough for me. I hoped for a larger opening to put my boots through but there is not. It is a bit of a struggle to be honest and once they are on, you do have excess of material on your legs which is ok but ideally I would have preferred to not have them. But then these would have to be your trousers and not over trousers. Having the perforated liner in the trouser means that it is even harder to fit the boots through these, but I decided to cut it out since I valued practicality for some less features. Without the liner it is still tough but they are fine. Also there seems to be some confusion over the zips. So these trousers have zips on the sides, yes. They allow you to wear extra material underneath them yes. But they do not open to reveal the legs. These are not the trousers where, having the zipper on the side means it is incredibly easy to put on and take off. The side zippers are there for allowing extra material. Although please do not be discouraged. Having the zips on the side that open to show skin are not very reliable. The zipper may catch on your jeans or whatever you wear underneath and over time the zips may fail to join properly leading the common zip failure we have all seem too often on those hooded jackets where the zips are joined and slide but refuse to join the two material. Overall, I think I would buy these again and recommend them to others. But before I do I will remind them that they are only usable without the liner for me but yeah thats my 2 cents. Thank you.

Love these trousers. Fully waterproof great fit only reason they never got 5 star rating is because there's no pockets ...apart from that brilliant product and I'm very happy with them .

I have a couple of issues with these trousers; 1/ they leak around the crotch area which is a tad annoying and 2/ zipping up the sides is a nightmare, with the inner material often getting caught in the zip. Sizewise, I went one up and they just about fit.

Have used these over leathers twice in the last 3 days on a Norwegian tour. Safe to say it rains a lot there. On the first deluge they were ok and a wet backside was down to me. Second time having learnt the lessons of the day before I still ended up wet. I think it got in via the high zips as there are no holes and the waistband is dry. They were on the right way round! In fairnest both trips were over 300 km and it rained all the time.

Late November/ early Dec and there has been plenty of rain to test these on my daily commute. Well worth the money to be kept dry, and thus warmer. Not sure that there is enough width in the leg to be able to pull over the top of a boot, but that's not troubling me at the moment. Light weight, but strong construction.

I wore these travelling seven miles to work in a surprisingly heavy downpour and kept me completely dry. Well pleased.

Good quality overtrousers with handy full length zips. Bought my size which fit fine over jeans but a bit snug over leathers. Not got them wet yet but keep my legs nice and warm.

I am normally a size 12 in trousers and ordered the L Stormseal trousers so that they wouldn't be too tight and I could wear jeans underneath. The L trousers drowned me though and I immediately exchanged them for S, which fit very well and still give me room to wear layers underneath. The waist is quite tightly fitted and the legs are very loose so they are comfortable and they kept me completely dry the first time I wore them in the rain. I like the reflective patches on the ankles and they are quite warm as well, as they have an inner layer as well as the waterproof layer.

Got the matching set, jacket and trousers to put in bag in case of rain. They didn't flap in the wind, kept me dry and warm. I bought my actual size, was worried my jacket and Kevlar jeans wouldn't fit inside but they did. Like the full length zips, great when you're in a hurry.
