If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Look good on the bike. Not so much off.
Not slim looking, but are certainly protective.
Gone sliding accross a car park which took the denimn away but the yellow kevlar underneath untouched.
I since patched them and use them regularly 7 years on.
However they're more gray then black at this point.
Probably get a size smaller too.
A great overall product.
I use these jeans half of the year and have some great features:
-Pockets for knee protection so you can remove them at any time
-Great slim fit
-Durable material
Pro tip:
You can sew new insert pockets for hip protection and use Bull-it Covec Phantom Impact Protectors Level 2 or Revit Seesmart for better comfort and overal hip protection.
Great jeans well made and comes with both hip and knee armour. Altho I would advise to get a size up from your normal size as they are very tight fitting.
Spent a while looking for a pair of skinny motorcycle jeans and I'm so pleased I went for these ones. Fit really well (I'm 6"3, usually 30-31 inch waist, got the 32's and they fit great) the removable knee armour is great for when you get off and want to walk around a bit. Great quality, definitely recommend to anyone looking for a skinny/slim Jean!
Having tried many pairs of m/c jeans, these are by far the best. Great fit, great style and quality.
Also the telephone service provided was fantastic. Thank you.
Good quality well made slim fitting Jean. Has some stretch so comfortable on bike with non itchy lining. Neat pockets for knee protection which are pretty much invisible when protection not fitted. Look like standard jeans. Go up at least one size as they come up snug. I'm generally 32 waist but needed 34. Appear long when first worn, but perfect length when sitting on bike. Recommended if you like fitted jeans.
Great jeans, bit of stretch and good and skinny. Feel thick and I am confident with these and the quality yet comfortable knee & hip armour. Waist is quite high compared to 'real' jeans, but this just makes me feel more protected and at least I won't end up following the biker fashion of showing off my butt crack.
These are very good quality jeans. Very strong. I'd struggled to find any motorcycle jeans even approaching slim - even those advertised as 'stretch' by other stores were really baggy. I wear slim/stretch skinny normal jeans and I reckon these are probably the slimmest jeans I'll find that are proper motorcycle wear. They're a bit thicker in the material than normal jeans, on account of the Kevlar layer but that's to be expected. They turn up well and look good like this - I wear them over TCX Blend WP boots (even though they're pretty tight at the bases of the legs) and they go very well together. The armour pockets for the knees are basically invisible, just a tiny zip - armour removed and installed in seconds - the armour itself (hip and knee included) is also top notch. The hip armour is installed in little velcro sealed internal pouches (with the jeans off). Size wise I'm a 32 and I'd say these are on the tight side of a 32, but still comfortable. Nice to be able to walk around all day and not have to carry another pair of trousers for the bike - people don't realise they aren't just standard jeans. And great service from Sportsbikeshop.
