Nolan Pinlock Insert - N100-5

Great product that does what it says. Easy to install and works a dream

The pin lock insert fitted to the visor had shrunk, so it did not seal against the lens.
Otherwise the pin lock insert was OK.
An expensive exercise just because the insert has shrunk.
I contacted Nolan but as yet no response.

Good fit to new visor, bringing life back to an old helmet. On back order for ages.

When fitted they work well, but have limited lifespan. When yours starts to shrink it's time to order a spare. Mine ordered in October as I started "steaming up" arrived with the snow around 18 December. I'd bought new helmet in meantime.
To be fair to SBS they kept advising me of delays, nobody else had stock, nor of the visor I also needed.

Other than the unbelievably long lead time for delivery it does what it should do and I am pleased that I am not steaming up again.

Although the Nolan N100-5 Pinlock is nothing special, in that it does what is says on the tin - no more steaming up. Sportsbikeshop were the only place in the country I could find who had one readily available- brilliant.(not even Bob Heath Visors!!)

Does the job, looks good.
No instructions on fitting but just refer to u tube.

I've been using pinlock on a couple of helmets now and they save me so much grief, especially as i wear glasses. The pinlock should be fitted by taking the visor off the helmet as per manufacturer instructions. If fitted properly it will provide a good couple of years of protection against fogging. I bought this as a replacement to an older one that wouldn't seal any more against the visor. Highly recommend!
