The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...
These boots are insanely comfortable. I couldn't believe how well they fit and allow positive control of the gear shift lever at the same time. My main requirement for a boot like this was comfort and ability to feel the gear lever and brake pedal positively. These boots do that. They are also very comfortable to wear walking around when you're off the bike. Another plus. They also look good and could pass for regular shoes. They are a bit pricey but on balance probably worth it.
Can't fault them as it does exactly what it says on the tin. A little hard to put on it you're used with zips or just pulling shoes fast on your feet.
They are light, somewhat stylish, kinda airy, but don't expect to feel the breeze at 20mph.
I have to say they hold pretty well to the wear created by gear shifter. You can't see the regular dirt mark.
I'm size UK8.5 and got the 42.5(9.5) which fit well, you won't be wearing thick socks anyway. Keep in mind that the sizes displayed are US.
Only worn once but a lot more comfortable than my sports bike boots look good as well
The Primer is a protective riding shoe which boasts a soft interior, offering an excellent spongey underfoot feel for all-day comfort. Perfect for on and off the bike urban use.
