Cold wind shooting up my legs

Bought them for long ride with my mates but the bottom of the legs do not tighten enough and cold air was shooting up my legs, I was unable to go for ride so before I use them again I'll have to sort out velcro on legs so it actually tightens ?

I bought these trousers for a motorcycle tour in India where it is cool at the start of the day but warms up as the day progresses. These Oxford mesh trousers were superb as they kept my legs warm first thing but were not sweaty and hot in the heat of the day.
I found the sizing about right but I also noticed the legs were a lot looser than my normal riding trousers which worked very well to keep my legs cooler.
The only downside side I found to these trousers is there is no fly zip, well there is to allow you to put the trousers on but there is a piece of material behind the zip obviously to keep the rain out but when going to the loo it is more effort than it could be

Vent as you would expect.
Lower leg gusset velcro is rubbish and detaches then flaps.
Good fit for Oxford, not as baggy as their other stuff.

These trousers are cool, with good air flow to legs,via mesh panels, much cooler than jeans. But are let down by poor ankle fastener ,just two Velcro strips,could do with a popper, also the popper on waist is not very strong, and also no fly, so calls of nature are awkward. That said the fit was good and they come with braces, and for the price, they are reasonable value.

These are generally comfortable and good for hot weather. The knee pads sit funny when you are riding, and the material holding them in feels very plastic against your skin. I have actually stuck some bits of an old marino t-shirt to cover the plastic as it felt sweaty.

Bought on sale, great summer pants. Unfortunately the fastening sucks, and you have to use the included braces. If it was for more than a few months, would not keep.

Nice cool trousers for the summer. I'm surprised the S 32 size fitted me nicely but adding the hip protectors that looked too big, made the trousers a bit tighter. Also it needs a zip or more velcro at the end of the leg.
Overall very good for the price.
