Nexx X.WST 2 - Rockcity Matt Blue / Neon

This was my fourth helmet in six months. The first I bought after going into a shop though.

I have a big cranium (XXL) and although they didn't have the size in the shop, I tried an XL and could feel it was very close, and didn't press on my forehead like the others (turns out I have a very North American shaped head).

The helmet itself apart from fitting is very quiet, has proper D ring straps (accept no substitute!) and the cushioning is plush and quality feeling beyond the price.

So why a 4? The only thing I don't like about it is the visor fixing. It is a bit fiddly to remove (and feels like it'll break) and mine doesn't have robust enough 'stops' in terms of partially up or down.

One last thing about service, I ordered the bigger size up without trying it and SBS would have exchanged it free if it didn't fit. Ace!

Having deliberated on a new helmet for a while and missed out on the carbon version I opted for the WS2 unit X. My last helmet cost more than twice the cost of the WS2 and was always a little tight, a bell carbon and previous helmets were always Arai ( I had a little more cash then). This is a great helmet, exudes quality, my head is a 56.5 cm so I went medium which I think was the best choice, my bell in a small was always tight pinching the ears even after changing the liner, the WS2 is comfortable, snug to put on , quiet and surprisingly light. A great field of view, pin lock included, and accepts intercom easily. All liners easily removed and replace without stress.
Internal sun visor very effective leaving lower edge clear to see instruments. In all a quality helmet at a spectacular price...one very happy customer...

I was looking for an everyday helmet when purchasing this Nexx, I already own Shoie Neo Tec & open faced lids. I did my research on reviews etc & made my purchase through Sportsbike shop which I trust & were the cheapest. The helmet is very well finished, it did take a couple of rides to break in & has a tight aperture/ neck roll. Now it's a great fit, reasonably quiet, good visor seal, minimum buffering. It has a great wide visor with great view, Pinlock is included, ventilation is adequate, sun visor is excellent. Very happy to recommend.
