These are direct replacements for the originals. I found the originals snapped easily as I turned to lock visor in place after cleaning. The quality and finish not great but fits perfectly when you get it right. Just be careful when re-fitting and you will be fine.

I've lost a couple of these recently so good to be able to replace them without having to go to the expense of buying a new helmet.

I think these fasteners are the only weak point on my otherwise excellent Nexx helmet as they broke before I'd put the helmet on for the first time. But when I contacted customer support, they send me out a replacement pair free of charge. Great to have someone on the end of the phone you can talk to. Makes a huge difference to where I shop

Okay when used with the more rubberised finish on the peak but not so secure with other attachments, especially when removing the helmet bag.

I recently purchased a Nexx X-Wed helmet and after first-use decided to take off the peak and visor for cleaning. In doing so I managed to break one of the attachment clips by rotating it the wrong way. After doing some research, I discovered that these little catches are designed to shear in the event of an accident, so the helmet's peak shears off and does not cause injury, which makes sense. Nexx do provide a pair of spare clips, but having broke one it seemed like a good idea to replace them so I still have a pair of spares. Well designed item, just be careful when removing and refitting.
