K&N Filter re-oiling

Excellent product, but wish instructions had stipulated to oil the crown of the filter's pleats one side only as oil will wick naturally to the other crown. Would have given 5 on rating if instructions had been clearer. Used glass syringe to measure the stipulated oil quantity for type of Filter.

K&N Air filter service ky

Easy to follow instructions, one filter cleaner and one air filter oil.
Spray cleaner on, leave 10 mins and wash off with clean water, leave to dry thoroughly and then re oil. Enough left for at least another service in the future and I used plenty of cleaner.
Bought from Sportsbikeshop as cheapest supplier going.

As to be expected of the K&N a good service kit and not over priced. Dose what is says and keeps those nice filters clean and oiled.
Always follow the instructions as you don't need to go crazy with the the spray and oil for a good service on the filter

The kit comes with K&N Power Kleen air filter cleaner and K&N air filter oil. 99-5050 will restore airflow efficiency and will bring your K&N oiled cotton air filter to like-new condition. K&N Power Kleen works to dissolve the dirt build-up and old filter oil, then it can be washed away with water. After the air filter fully dries re-oil your air filter then reinstall it. This Recharger Kit comes with an 8-ounce squeeze bottle of oil and a 12-ounce K&N pump bottle of Power Kleen air filter cleaner.
