Scorpion Exo-230 - Matt Black

Bought this crash hat from Sportsbikeshop love it ! Ideal for when l ride locally. Very comfortable, good vision. Easy clean interior. I wear glasses and it's good with them too.
Feels good, works good and a good price for the quality. I would recommend getting one.

Great helmet, excellent finish on the exterior, easy to remove interior if cleaning is required but the press studs can be a bit flimsy. Cut outs inside for intercom (unfortunately the Scorpion intercom doesn't get good reviews) , good size drop down internal visor which is easy to use. A very comfortable helmet to wear.

Tried several open face helmets to replace my Shoei J Cruise, and this one is at least as good, at nearly a quarter of the price! Very good fit, comfortably tight with the wide field of vision you only get from an open face. Would recommend. Even seems quieter that my modular helmet. Have also fitted a Pinlock, and the Exo-Com integrated intercom which I would also recommend.

The switch to the Scorpion Exo-230 was, initially, based on the looks of the helmet compared to what else was available at the time. However, the build quality and, above all else, the comfort of this helmet have really impressed.
On a recent trip to Normandy, covering over 600 miles in a week, it was excellent. No pressure point issues, just super comfortable throughout. No open face helmet that I have used over the years can be described as quiet, but the Exo-230 is no worse than any other I have owned and in many respects better. The drop down sun visor also works well, not to dark or light in terms of shading. The final vote of confidence is that I have just purchased another.

Very comfortable, easy to put on. Such a wide view, lifesavers so easy. Surprisingly quiet even at speed, with as much facial wind protection as a modular. Good top ventilation. You still need a pinlock though, as the visor easily mists, probably because it is close to your nose and mouth.
