Motorcycle boot CE markings explained
The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...

Customers generally find these boots well-made, comfortable, and good value for money. They are comparable in protection to more expensive brands, offering reinforced areas around the toes and ankles. Some found them a bit stiff initially but expect them to soften with wear. A few mentioned the laces being overly long and needing adjustment. Overall, these boots are suitable for both riding and casual wear, making them an excellent choice for summer use.
Not perfect at all, ankle part super stiff and not to pleasant to wear over time. But the weight makes up for it. So in short, good enough...
Price is a big plus
Been wearing these boots for a few days to break them in and am finding them increasingly more comfortable. They are quite roomy so I added an insole and wear two pairs of socks to ensure they fit correctly. Definitely worth wearing them out for a bit to scuff up the sole so they grip well. Overall I am very pleased with these boots, they do appear to be well made, sturdy and give a good feel for the foot controls.
Bought these instead of the alpinestars equivalent and I was immediately taken with how comfy these felt. I've worn it for a few trips so far but they are pretty good and for walking they are comfy.
The white base/sole does seem to get dirty pretty easily though.
Heard that this brand was sportsbikeshop's very own so I knew it was gonna be alright quality and for the price, it felt like a steal.
Nice fit, look trendy, great for the Money
When we talk about boots for everyday motorcycle riding, I think the best compliment that can be given is that you can't tell they are motorcycle boots. I can wear them with jeans and they are normal shoes... But inside they have the protection to walk on a daily basis without problems. I have big feet and the fit was perfect.
I am normally a 10 uk but had to go up to 11 uk. They look good and seem well made, a bit stiffer than normal trainers, but they are comfortable enough to wear as casual shoes. I've not worn them on the bike yet, but not expecting an issue with them.
Bought these with some trepidation because of the price . However they are excellent. Fit is very good and true to size. Comfortable and great to wear with motorcycle Jeans. Great value for money. I ride a scooter, so they were pretty good in light rain with no water ingress. I'm impressed
Amazing shoes very comfy and not too hot, laces are a bit long tho
Perfect for summer riding with the confidence of having a decent level of protection. Fit is good, bought the same size as my normal shoe, and whilst a little stiffer than a normal trainer, still comfortable enough to wear out and about casually. Has the same protective features as similar more expensive boots (reinforced toe/footplate/ankle areas) but at half the price!
Bought these for the summer, haven't taken em off yet, so comfy.... Super value for money...
I bought the boots for occasional summer use to wear with motorcycle jeans. They work together well, are comfortable on & off the bike & appear to be protective according to the 1-2-2-2 CE rating. The outer shell appears to be quite stiff but this is not noticeable when wearing them. They are very light. Negatives : laces are way too long & could easily get tangled up, no reinforced area for gear shift, not waterproof, not a problem for me. Overall though, well worth it.

Overall though, worth a punt.
The shoes look good and are reasonably comfortable off the bike.
They feel pretty good on the bike but I would have liked some thicker material where the shifter touches the top.
Laces are very long and have to be tucked away quite carefully.
They seems to come quite big, I had to get a size down from normal.
great value for money CE 1/2/2/2 shoes that have good fit. Yes a little rigid at the start but after using them a couple of (warm) days have now soften.
Many thanks to the Reading shop team. Always friendly and helpful!
Good quality boots for the price, conformable and light even good for walks, you cant go wrong for the price.
Great first pair of biking shoes.
Very sturdy.
Good protection.
Great style and certainly comfortable, with obvious design safety features considered for that reassuring - protection.
Only four stars at the moment, as not had any decent weather yet to really try them on the bike. But worn them round the house and they are a good fit and really comfy. Material feels quite cardboardy for some reason, but presume will soften up with wear. Inner soles a bit flimsy, but added some gel inserts and now bang-on. Really good value for the money and ideal for the summer.
