Klim Resilience Jacket - Teak / Potter's Clay

I already own the Resilience jacket and use it under my own jackets, so when my wife (5 ft 10, UK 14 top) wanted an extra layer I went straight for another in size M. I use mine under my marrakesh, my lattitude and even my induction pro when the conditions require it - the temps just drop off or it's a cold start etc. It packs so small you can keep it in a pannier or top box with no thought for it until you need it.

Her input:
Trim fit that stays put. The stretch fleece panels hug her shape, so the Marrakesh’s tapered cut still looks neat with no bunching at the elbows or shoulders.

Just enough warmth. She feels the cold more than I do, but paired with this layer she can ride comfortably down to roughly 18 °C with just a tshirt under it under a marakesh. Above that she swaps back to the Marrakesh alone.

Wind-blocking where it counts. The nylon-faced front and sleeves take the sting out of cooler morning air without killing the airflow that makes the Marrakesh so good in warmer weather.

Packs down small. Rolls into its own sleeve and disappears into a pannier. Ideal for travel days when the temperature swings.

Colour works with the Marrakesh. The Potter’s Clay orange goes really well with the petrol marrakesh and actually looks planned rather than thrown together.

It lacks hand-warmer pockets, but that keeps the torso slim and tidy. After seeing how versatile mine is, getting a second for her was an easy decision.
