AGV AX9 - Steppa Matt Carbon / Grey / Sand

I guess the best recommendation is to re-buy the same helmet again. I have a slightly narrow head and this fit me so well. I have taken off the peak as of no use to me but the helmet is great. I love the visibility with its huge visor. The visor simply flips up instead of having to muck around finding a release catch. I have a sportmodular from AGV and although it has other ‘stuff’ it can do, a simple helmet that fits well is great. I have a load of tinted visors all with pinlocks which can fit on during strong sunny days. Simple screw on fitting which isn’t a problem. Looks good with the carbon matt finish. I can take the visor off and use goggles if needed for a bit of freedom also.

My first AGV lid, been looking at this for a while but didn’t really want to spend £500 + at the time… few weeks later it had been dropped down to £279. !! Purchased straight away, arrived next day. Fit is amazing, very light and very good quality. Purchased dark tint visor and 2nd helmet Card kit at the same time.. extremely pleased with all 3 items. As usual, SBS service was great.

Was excited for this helmet to arrive, but overall slightly disappointed.
Looks are great. It's nice and light and fits well. Field of view fantastic.
However the visor is insanely noisy. Anything over 35 mph it is impossible to wear even with ear plugs in. I have removed the visor and it's much much better…but does slightly defeat the appeal of an adventure helmet and with no internal sun visor it is going to be problematic without a photochromatic pinlock.
