When winter gloves don't cut it then it's time to plug in...
This is second pair I have owned. First pair had one glove failed but Gerbing would do anything about it as I did not have proof of purchase (gift to me). Second pair liner in left glove became detached and returned. Had to wait weeks before being returned after repair. Very poor quality and customer service.
Love the way the gloves fit into the inner jacket and the way all the system remembers heat settings. Just plug in and gently broil.
I liked the fitting, control setting and how warm and waterproof they were. Not quite as warm as my previous Gloves which were Gerbing ones, but they fitted better with my jacket
Perfect
True to size fit very easy to install the power supply lead .The best investment any rider can make to keep there fingers and thumbs from going numb with cold
These gloves are very warm , every bit worth the money
I had the previous generation of these and they had seen better days (if had them for several years)......these new ones are a big step forward in comfort terms....I used them for the first time when there was frost still on the hedgerows and had them on the coolest setting and they were plenty warm enough.
With my old gloves they were connected to my heated jacket liner and controlled off that....with these that cannot be done so a wire up your back and down the sleeves appears to be the only way (I am happy to be proved wrong about this though).
All round a good product.
Previously had the ones with knuckle pads, but these are a bit more comfortable. Good gloves with the battery pack in the frost, haven't yet had a chance to get out on the bike with them, but I have no doubt my hands will stay warm when I do!
A great item that really works and good quality .
I've had these for a few weeks now. Tested them on low setting just to ensure they were working. Excellent quality gloves, very supple with a comfortable liner. Cuffs are just wide enough to go over the sleeve of my jacket.
Its not cold enough yet to connect them as they are very warm in their own right. I will be connecting them to the heated jacket liner as soon as the temperature drops.
Fantastic product! You can use either a battery pack - which is purchased seperately, or as I have done, wired directly to your 12V supply on the bike.
I use several jackets, so it can be an issue swapping over the wiring harness between jackets, but you can also get spare harnesses so could attach a harness in each of your jackets.
They can get so hot, that you have to "unlock" the hottest setting before using it, (quick and easy to do) and then your hands including fingers will stay toasty no matter how low the mercury falls.
Use the size guide or look on you tube for a video of how to make sure you order the correct size.
There is no hard armour in these, but they are very comfortable to wear, with a lovely soft lining, and you really can't feel the heating elements. I'm very happy with my purchase, and look forward to many years of great service from them.
I wanted a set of gloves that I could wear for flying and motorcycling so I wasn't after any knuckle armour or extra stiffness. These are very well made, probably my nicest pair in 50 years of motorcycling. The sizing chart said I should order a large, but as I've always worn XL I chose that. I'm glad I did as they are a snug fit. I installed the included wiring on the bike easily, but have only tried the gloves with the 12v batteries so far. The batteries are a snug fit in the cuffs and maybe if I was only using them on a bike with the batteries I'd choose a model with larger cuffs. Once everything is seated you forget the batteries are there. On medium they lasted around two hours. With an air temp of about 2-3C this was enough to keep my hands NOT cold. I had a 3 hour ride on that day, so I suffered about an hour of it without heating in the gloves. It was very clear the heating was doing a good job of avoiding my hands becoming cold. Exactly as I'd hoped, as I wasn't expecting HOT hands, just NOT COLD ones. I'm very happy with my purchase and that I chose Gerbing over others due to their great warranty on the heating elements in the gloves.
I haven't been able to take the bike out yet,
but I connected them to the battery and they
worked a treat.
Fantastic pair of heated gloves, well worth the money.
I was a bit bothered about the fit when they arrived as they were quite a snug fit but after a tour of Scotland they have bedded in very well and now fit perfectly. At first I was also concerned that the lining was going to pull out with my hand but now, even in wet weather, they are easy on and off. The gloves are totally waterproof inside but even after being treated outside they do soak up a lot of water, they are soft leather so it's to be expected. Definitely the warmest gloves I have ever had even without power, very comfortable to wear all day. Great purchase.
These are the second pair of Gerbing gloves I have purchased. I have had the first pair for a few years and are brilliant but I can't find them anywhere, hence second pair. VERY efficient and hot so the highest temperature release code is not required. I suffer from Raynards syndrome so these are essential for me. Have also had the Gerbing heated jacket for years and that is still going strong. As usual, Sportsbikeshop service was top notch so both they and Gerbing are HIGHLY recommended.

These are 12V vehicle powered heated gloves, and so are not supplied with batteries. Please note also, that should you choose to power these gloves using the 7V battery kit, it will only attain a maximum of the medium heat setting.
