If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Oxford's AAA-rated bike jeans have garnered high praise from customers. They commend the quality construction, noting that the jeans look and feel good both on and off the bike. While initially stiff, they become comfortable with wear. The fit is generally accurate, though some suggest sizing up. Customers appreciate the unobtrusive armor and good protection. Despite being heavier than regular jeans, they are considered excellent value for money. Highly recommended for their durability and versatile use.
These fit very well, look good, are comfortable but weigh a little more than normal jeans. Given they provide AAA protection they’re seriously impressive as there’s really very little impact on the style, weight and flexibility.
If you have boots with shin protection you’ll likely have problems getting this slim fit over the top.
I don’t know what they’ll be like in the rain or cooler weather. However in recent hot weather they were comfortable.
I think these are a really good buy.
This is my second pair of Oxford AAA approved slim fit jeans and just like before I am not disappointed. Feel and fit is great. The armour is very supple meaning it doesn’t hurt as much at the knees unlike other Jeans I’ve bought. I wear slim fit due to me preferring the armour to be held in place.
Needed a fair priced well known unlined summer jeans and triple A jeans for this price is reasonable.
Absolutely fantastic quality on a budget from Oxford including level two armour very comfortable. Only small criticism I am a 32 inside leg so went with regular, actually could have gone with the short size, so just had them adjusted. But clearly Oxford have the length wrong unless a 32 inside leg is short now days. Happy customer though with the purchase and sportsbikeshop. What more can you say 10/10
Smart looking and fitment sizes are accurate. That said, the knee armour does feel as if it sits a bit too low and when riding, the bottoms of the trousers rise above my boots. Hopefully once they've been worn in a bit more and become more supple, they'll fit better.
Overall good jeans for the price, and AAA with armour included. The jeans feel good quality although rather stiff at the minute, bit baggy for slim fit but makes them comfortable on the bike. Also the armour provided is good but still stiff and waring in hopefully will improve. Quite happy with my purchase
These jeans are comfy on and off the bike. The armour is very slim and flexible which helps with comfort.
Size wise I needed a larger size than normal for the waist which means the legs are a little looser than I would like however all in all a great pair of jeans.
Jeans seem good quality. They fit good. I had to go a size larger as the 32 was too tight around the waist, I'm generally between sizes. Only issue is somtimes the knee pads can be uncomfortable. I need to get the position right.
The extra long jeans are a really good fit for a 6ft 6in tall man. I was worried they would ride up whilst sat on the bike but they still fit well.
These jeans are well made and don’t feel like AAA rated kit. They come with excellent armour. I have found that the slim fit is just a little too slim for me, even with lanky legs. After a couple hours of riding they start to chafe the backs of my knees.
Being single layer they’re great for hot days, where as if it’s a little chilli you might want something thicker.
Comfy, nice fitting trousers with knee & hip pads that aren’t too bulky and uncomfortable.
The jeans fit really well. They are a little heavier than your everyday jeans but if it wasn't for the areas with extra armour you would assume you were wearing normally jeans.
Great fit and feel, look the bees knees too.
Good jeans. Well made. Knee pads are quite bulky though and I have to occasionally readjust them during riding.
Regret not getting longer size though than what I normally buy, as the ankle rides up slightly due to bent position of knee when riding.
These are very well made jeans. They are true to size, offer AAA protection but don't feel bulky because of the pads. The look and feel is just amazing.
I came from wearing jeans that also had slip in pads but one looks and you knew it. They were so bulky.
I'd recommend these and would buy another pair when needed.
Very pleased. Jeans are comfortable and true to size. Protection at knee and hip doesn't prevent movement. Great value.
Very happy with these jeans. As a tall guy with a big build I had to size up on the waist from 34 to 36. The 36 leg was perfect. Just like my normal jeans. Good armour placement.
Fit was a bit of a challenge so got a size bigger and they were perfect. I would not be reviewing if I was not happy with all aspects of the jean. A good bit of Kit.
