Very quick delivery, helmet as described, very easy to order

Love the chequer pattern and colour scheme. Quality and finish feels good for a budget lid. Never going to be as comfortable as an Arai or a Shoei for example, though probably just needs some breaking in, but comfortable enough and a good spring/summer helmet. As I wear photochromatic-type spectacles I didn't want a helmet with a drop-down tinted visor, so this does the trick. May look for some retro or ski-type goggles so could use this year round if necessary.

Sizes guide not helpful - as others have noted.
Purchased medium (same as my other helmets) - very tight fit almost painful.
Returned to Sportsbikeshop and replaced with large - perfect fit.

Great open face helmet, comfortable straight away, the only thing I'd say is with this brand go one size bigger.

Beautiful helmet that pairs well with a set of Halcyon goggles for that perfect retro look. Would definitely recommend you call in to Sportsbikeshop to try the helmet for size before you buy to avoid disappointment as some reviews say helmets come up smaller than normal.

I purchased the Large - and after 30 mins riding I had terrible pressure points on my forehead. I sold the helmet on eBay the following day and purchased the AGV K6s instead from SBS. The bell helmet would suit a round head shape - mine is oval. I'm approx 59.5cm. Shame it didn't fit correctly. A nice decent helmet, lightweight with obvious excellent visibility.

good quality for the price quick delivery. Its a little tighter than my current helmet of the same size so if possible try on before you buy but pleased with it

Good sizing & comfortable. Just the thing for summer evenings out and about on something noisy and unreliable. The Bell 500 is decent quality and well finished, and great value. I have two, the XXL shell seems a lot bigger than the XL shell, so makes me look a bit like Frank Sidebottom.
