If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
First pair of riding jeans I've bought. I generally wear textile or leathers.
Fit : little bit snugger than my usual levis 501s. i'm 6'4 and the 34" leg is perfect (regular).
Armour : knee armour seems well placed, hip inserts needed a minor adjustment.
Good looking jeans, inidscernible from normal jeans. Comfortable on the bike or just kicking around.
Only gripe is that they don't attach to my jacket. There is a belt available for an additional £50 or so.
All my Rev'it gear has been quality, these are no exception.
I tried a few different pairs before settling on these. Sizing is a bit long legged 'Dutch' so I'm a short in these whereas I'm usually a regular length. The size chart is accurate though so read it. They feel like actual jeans, not really stretchy like some others I tried. Knee pads are quite thin/soft and unobtrusive. I've worn these all day in work with the pads without issues. They look pretty close to regular jeans. Quite a heavy weight fabric used, so probably not for wandering around shops in the sunshine (if we ever get any), but otherwise great on and off the bike. The mesh lining in parts helps them feel cooler.
