Richa Blade Waterproof Leather Boots - Black / Red
Customer Product Reviews
A truly water proof and comfortable boot
Never really trusted the waterproof branding on products made from Leather. Bought 1 size up from usual and although snug at 1st they have relaxed enough in 2 weeks to be like Slippers. Anyway 900 miles through Europe and 4 storms later, socks are ....Dry. Great boots Richa I'm converted. Thanks to SBS for the advice when buying.
Richa boots and customer service
Got original boots which ended up being fairly tight and I couldn't get them zipped up. I needed a new set urgently as I was due to leave for a few weeks of work very soon. So called up and asked about next size up. Placed order and paid for it then and there to get them quicker as I couldn't be left waiting on a refund before my new set was sent out. New ones came, still a bit tight but were wrong colour. I don't notice at first myself. Took them out and missus noticed when I got back. Called up about it and someone said they'd look in to it. Seems to be a lack of communication from their end. So to sum up, boots pretty tight even at 2 sizes up. Feet fit good in them. Too big if anything. But my calves are a bit bigger so it's pretty tight, especially with leathers tucked in. And customer service isn't very good.
Richa Blade Boots
Didn't read any reviews before purchase. Probably should have bought a size up as they were tight. My opinion is they should be sized correctly and you should only have to get the next size up if you're going to ride through winter and want to wear extra socks. Having said that I had to walk around Wigan for two and a half hours while I waited for my bike to be serviced. My feet were a bit sore but the next time I wore them they were fine. Comfortable now.
Took on board the comments about sizing so went up 1 size and the fit was perfect. Quality is excellent, the internal padding is really good. Used on a track day and the toe sliders worked well, guess I can order replacements. A good looking boot as well.
Value for money
Had these boots over two weeks now they've just started loosen up won't know until we've had a good down pour to see how good the water proofing is .The only gripe I've got is the Velcro material that is used for the zip pull has started fraying with everyday use that is why I'll only give them a 4 star rating. You can't go wrong with the price either
Fantastic boots and a great fit. I went slightly bigger than my usual size and they fit perfectly. These boots are very comfortable and feel great to wear. Excellent support and protection with a substantial fastening system. There is ample room around the top of the boot when fastened unlike a lot of boots which can feel tight and restricting. Also they are comfortable to walk in due to the design and make up of the boot itself. I would recommend this boot to anyone whether you are a new or experienced rider. Top class product.
This is my 2nd pair of these boots after the 1st were returned for a warranty claim after 12 months. I was dubious about buying these again because the 1st pair always gave me issues from the start (armour digging in, toe box digging in, etc). Tried various other boots nothing fit my foot right whilst fitting my ankle at the same time. Went back to these. Have received them I know realised the previous pair were clearly faulty from the off. this pair is supremely comfortable (go a size up) and the build quality (glue, stitching etc) is streaks above the first pair. They feels comfy, safe, warm, easy to walk in with decent feel on controls once broken in.
New Richa Blade boots
They look good (although not sure about the metal slide plate.. but that can be removed). They are very, very small on the sizing, I take a 10 in everything usually, but after reading the reviews went up 2x sizes (UK10 to UK12) and they are still very tight on my calves.. the velcro doesn't fully overlap when done up and the zip is very tight.. hopefully this will give over time. On the bike they kept my feet warm and dry but I have had a tough time changing gear and get very little feedback. Overall happy but time will tell if I'd get another pair.
Feels very safe, suitable for wider feet
Have finally gone for a ride on these. They feel very sturdy and stiff and safe. Initially they were quite tight around the bridge of the foot, but are breaking in nicely, though it's still difficult to feel the gear lever in particular. My feet are wide at the toe box area and a number of other manufacturers were unsuitable as their boots were quite narrow (RST and Spada come to mind). After speaking with Sportsbikeshop customer support they helped me select better manufacturers. The zip can be quite difficult to do up. The hook and loop flap has very stiff and sharp hooks which have scraped my fingers a couple of times. Overall quite happy with the boots, and Sports bike shop provided excellent service as I changed sizes and models a number of times before settling on these.
