The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. Better than standard riding jeans

So good I bought a 2nd pair, and my standard riding jeans now stay in the cupboard. Richa are on to V2 of the Apache cargo pants, but the V1’s I own are still going strong. The comfort of a cargo pants is so much better than straight leg jeans. I’ve commuted in them, toured the NC500 in them, and wear them for weekend outings. Brilliant gear.
