The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. The finish looks quite coarse. However, the boots are well made and are a good fit though I chose a pair two sizes larger than I buy shoes (I have other Richa boots which I tried on in a shop). There is good foot protection. I bought these as summer boots and to go with bike casual clothing.

Bought these gloves after a pair I'd got for Christmas turned out to be a poor fit.

Staff at SBS Birmingham were great (they always are) and I traded-up to the Richa gloves after seeing them in the store.

Really well made and comfortable from first time on. Sizing is spot on too.

Level One rated but have nice knuckle protection and usual Richa quality.

Definitely only for late Spring to early Autumn use and not waterproof, but for anyone looking for a nice pair of Retro-style gloves, these should be on your shortlist!
