The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. Nice comfy boot. Only drawback is having to re do the laces every time instead of it being a zip or similar. ( first world problems eh? )

Warm enough for a Scottish winter

These gloves are very warm! I've just taken them though a Scottish winter with the lowest temp of -5 degrees and my hands remained warm throughout. I normally suffer with white finger but these gloves have put an end to that. I only used the highest setting when the temp was below freezing and the snow was starting, otherwise the heat is too much. Highly recommend.

Worn this twice now and I'm really impressed with the quality and cut of the jacket. I sized up as it is a slim fit so I've got room for a thin mid layer as well as a base layer. Good protection from the wind me and the close fitting arms means it doesn't flap around at all. It feels more of a feminine shape than some other jackets and the protection stays in place really well.
