The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. The Ghost Hip and Knee Armour is way better than the Bulky Armour in the similar Oxford Cargo Jeans. As is size and fit.
One minor niggle is the short pockets

Nice jeans, fit fairly true to size on the waist but were too long for me. Returned for a pair in short length. And yes, I'm a woman shopping in the men's section because the women's sizing is all over the place.

Look great but no hip pads. I love these jeans and the thought that went into the knee pad positioning design but then got annoyed that I had to take the hip protectors from my other cheaper jeans to put then in these which for the money you would think they'd be included.
