The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. My grandson (30++) says this jacket is Apsolutely brilliant and the best one he’s ever had. I like it also because of the yellow high viz strips as well as the reflective panels He’ll wear it for at least 20 years so money well spent.

I bought the top and bottoms. I commute everyday on the bike and needed a replacement for my alpinestar tourers. So far seems good in the downpours we have had. Its alot lighter than my old kit. Only downside for me is the cuffs and ankles are a bit tighter that I am used to for getting over gloves and boots. Sizes seem to come up small.

These gloves are waterproof so far as just 2 days of very heavy rain. They were wet on the outside but dry on the inside. Felt the cold a little one day but been OK on other days. I recommend these gloves for the price
