The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. This was much lighter than I expected, but has survived a couple of gales without damage, and keeps the rain out. Also - possibly because it is fairly loose - doesn't attract condensation as much as other covers I have used. Because it is lightweight, it packs down into the small plastic pouch it came in, so could be taken on a trip without adding much to the luggage. We'll see how long it lasts - I've never had a cover last longer than a couple of years - but so far I would say it's the best (and least expensive!) cover I've had.

110% recommend this jacket. The quality of the leather, zips, armour and lining are top notch. If you're on the fence, go for it. I'd be amazed if it didn't exceed your expectations. One bit of advice that I'm glad I took from other reviews was to 'go one size up'. As usual, SPORTSBIKESHOP service was 6 stars.

This is my second pair of these Richa Colorado. Superb all year trouser.
Thermal insert for the cold is great.
They are a tight fit so I went a size up for a bit more room this time.
I got the xl with long leg. I'm 6'1" high & 78kg. Athletic build.
