Richa Clothing

High performance leather and textile clothing from Richa

The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. Richa is a hugely popular name with our customers - just check out their reviews for proof of that!

Richa Desmo Leather Gloves - Black Richa Desmo Leather Gloves - Black
Excellent fit , soft and flexible you are able to feel the bikes controls , and have enough ventilation to keep your hands cool, (even in this extreme weather , August 26 ,) cuffs are long enough to cover wrist knuckle, and secure tightly with long Velcro straps, they have good all round accident protection , I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good summer gloves, ?

This jacket really does what they say, the air flow is superb even riding behind a large front screen (RT1250). Absolutely delighted.

Richa Orion Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Blue / Black Richa Orion Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Blue / Black
Lets start with the good - very light Gore-Tex jacket with a warm interior Gillet. Bad - very poor zips, been back to SB twice as cant fully close sleeve zips when you have gloves on, also, getting gloves on is a pain as the cuff barely opens to give you enough room to fit the glove under the sleeve, very frustrating....and finally, the main zip is very low, doesn't go very far up your neck, leaving neck exposed and when it rains unless you have a waterproof neck warmer this is going to cause issues - for an expensive jacket there are certainly flaws....

Richa Saturnus Waterproof Boots - Black Richa Saturnus Waterproof Boots - Black
These are my first experience of this style of boots but after 10 years of riding with my brilliant but very budget Oxford Hunter boots i decided to get something different. I purchased these on the strength of some good reviews and they seem very comfortable. I comment on their waterproofing because we've been stuck in a drought since I bought them. My big issue with them is that, the ATOP reel knob lacing system frequently unlocks itself as I'm riding. Many times I've used than, I've set off with the boots laced up correctly only to find during the journey, one or other (or occasionally both) boots have undone themselves. As far as I'm aware I'm not doing anything wrong with the lacing system, so i can't explain this. All I know is, it's a nuisance and has made me question my decision to buy them.
