The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. The jacket is comfortable and very adjustable with lots of straps around the arms and body so you can tighten or loosen the fit. I have worn it in very hot weather with the vents open and also in very wet conditions. it held up well in both keeping me cool in the heat and dry in the rain. Haven't used it on a very cold day yet so cant comment on its winter usage. One thing that may be an issue is fitting this with gloves. My Full gauntlet would not fit over the jacket sleeve but other gloves I own would fit over and under the jacket. Be weary that tight fitting wrist full gauntlets did not though in my case. Overall very happy with it

Really nice lightweight jacket, lots of pockets which is useful, I ordered XL for a 42" chest - and this size is perfect with either a t-shirt or sweatshirt worn underneath. I happily wear it off the bike as it looks so good!
