The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. It seems a good product, flexible and looks solid. However, they are noticeable under the the jeans but that is the price of wearing proper protection.

I lost the original pair somewhere and they were so good I bought another. The usual back pain inducing fight to get them on and they need some persuading over MX boots, but they all do.

Comfortable, well made, great fit
Worth the money?
I'd say yes
Only minor complaint, legs are quite narrow at bottom,
not easy to fit over adventure boots, definitely won't go
over MX/Enduro boots
