The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. The gloves are good waterproof and comfy and they feel quite substantial without being clumsy.
But the best thing of all is buying from Sportsbikeshop, it's better than going to a shop and their bargains are good value.
I don't go anywhere else now.

I've had these for around 3 years of spring to autumn riding.

They are probably my favourite summer gloves as they are comfortable, fit well, and have a lovely classic style, complete with zip and velcro to keep them snug. The lining allows some air to flow, and feels very silky. I also appreciate the touch-screen pads on the fingers, which work very well.

When I first had them the metal zips were quite stiff, but rubbing a little candle wax fixed that and as they have worn in the problem has not returned. Also over time they have become paler (much more than the picture shows on SBS) and lightly scuffed which makes them look even better!
