The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. Superb bit of kit for the money and got well tested on a recent weekend away didn't leak once despite proper heavy Scottish wind and rain would highly recommend went for my usual size and it fitted well over my other gear 10/10. Sportsbikeshop service top notch as usual

A good point about these is that you can pull them on over boots and trousers easily.
A big bonus when the heavens open.
Used them several times so far at motorway speeds in torrential rain and no embarrassing wet patches yet.

I wanted boots that didn't have laces to catch on pegs, I have tried others but none have been very comfortable to walk in when off the bike, these are sturdier than they look, are very comfortable to ride and walk in and they fasten securely without trailing laces.
Fit to size perfectly.

I’m not some sort of misshaped giant but I can never find gloves that fit, these make a really good effort. Off the bike a lot of gloves feel ok or even good but once on a ride the fingers are usually too short and the thumb ends up very compromised. The index fingers are still short but the thumbs actually have a tiny bit of spare room. I hope they get even better with more use.
