The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. Great jacket for hot weather. I’m in Torun Poland and I’ve seen 33 degrees so far and jacket has kept me cool. It’s also rained and the liner has proved waterproof although if worn on the outside it needs adjustable cuffs to stop sleeves riding up arms.

Initially ordered a size 10 (uk) but found them a bit small and narrow. To be fair I am sort of in between sizes. Return sorted out by sports bike shop with efficiency and a size 11 reordered. These fit perfectly and great for accompanying my summer gear. Seem comfortable straight away and great value for the quality.

Maybe would improve with more use, but so far they feel a little sub premium. But for the price, can't really complain and am happy with the boots which get a lot of wear.
