The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. I bought this to go over my short leather jacket. It covers well and really helps to block the cold wind. Has kept me dry while riding on nationals in heavy rain and I like the high vis colour for safety. What's nice is the portability. It packs away easily for transport in my rucksack.

I always wear Xl and this XL fits well. Fitted over bike leathers well. My only issue was the arm sleeves rode up while riding and I haven’t got long arms. They kept me dry for a 4 hour wet ride but wasn’t torrential rain.
Happy with the quality but might add some thumb loops to keep the sleeves down.
