Alpinestars Corozal Adventure Boots - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Very comfy protective boot
I was a bit wary of these being too stiff and therefore not that comfortable, but i've worn them for full days out and by the end i'd forgotten I was wearing these and not my sorter ankle-length boots. Protection looks excellent, though i've fortunately not had to put it to the test. Fit was true to my regular shoes (EU43, UK9)
I have always worn Alpinestars and found them to be really comfortable. As a female rider, it is difficult to find a good adventure boot. Luckily I am a UK 6 and my feet are just big enough to fit the smallest size in these Corozal boots (US 7 / Euro 40.5). Really comfy and well made, as I would expect from Alpinestars. Super fast next day delivery from Sportsbikeshop.co.uk
Brilliant on my multistrada
Tried on various boots at the Boston store and these were by far the best. Been using these for my daily commute and are extremely comfortable and very protective. They are brilliant on my multistrada but not a boot to be used for walking around in all day unless they are fully worn in.
So glad I went for these. They're snug, warm and very sturdy. They are also much easier to walk in that my old Tech3's. Clasp system is also much improved. All in all - very good boots! Excellent service again from SBS - sorted a sizing issue effortlessly and had the correct size in a couple of days.
Close but no cigar
The boots themselves exude quality, but the fit left something to be desired, in that they were too big in the heel. They were also massively protected in the shin, but this meant they were too big to go under my adventure trousers! Usual excellent service meant I could easily exchange them for a different brand. So, they're great if they fit you (and go under your flares!)
These boots are absolutely awesome! Wore them roughly everyday for a month in almost every weather, my feet have stayed warm and dry throughout! Super comfy and very tall, not to mention very good looking! The combination of straps and Velcro works perfectly too, allowing you to get a snug comfortable feel. Love them!
Warm, comfy and waterproof
Well made and attractive, they have already proved to be comfortable and warm. I also rode for an hour in pouring rain and stayed toasty and dry. Your feet feel very secure and well protected and . they are easier to remove than other boots I've owned
I liked the look of these straight from the box and they have not disappointed, the quality is remarkable, when you first put them on you think that you will never be able to move in them as they seem so rigid but you soon learn otherwise. Totally warm and waterproof, I take a UK 9 and the 44.5 was a perfect fit.
Wasn't too sure at first glance but as soon as I slipped my foot into them I knew I was keeping them! Very comfortable although a little bit stiff to start with. I did worry that I was going to be able to change gear in them as they are bulkier than my sports boots however after a couple of minutes on the bike I forgot I had them on. Kept my feet warm and dry through bad weather and they are so simple to put on and take off it takes seconds. Also because of the way they fasten they are ideal for people with large or small calf's as they are easily adjustable to suit anyone. Seem very well built and hard wearing i think these boots will last for years to come.
Dry feet great
I purchased these boots a couple of weeks ago and having used them twice (about 500 miles) they are definitely waterproof. They are to replace my Tech 3's on the wet days which are not. Good adjustment for fit and the top Velcro fastening allows for bigger calves. Comfortable and much more flexible than the Tech 3's, the soles are still stiff enough for miles of standing on the foot pegs on wee back roads and when off road riding. When standing, as the ankle is less stiff than a MX boot care has to be taken with foot placement on the peg as the boot will tip sideways if the peg end is too central but this will improve with familiarity. The annoying squeak will have to be addressed with some silicon before I next wear them. The boots have a road boot feel to them making gear changing and braking easy and are flexible enough to walk in for sight seeing. I have coated mine with a Nikwax product to help with the bedding in process and help keep water out of the surface materials. How the soles will stand up to sharp foot pegs only time will tell but are barely marked at present where as my Tech 3's have chunks missing on the gear change side. A good value comfortable waterproof boot that should give good life and with Sportsbikeshop good service and advice.
Great fit and feel
I visited the shop after doing a bit of research, tried a pair of Sidi Couriers as well but found these way more comfortable from the outset. Worn now for a couple of months commuting in all weathers, broken in nicely, 100% water proof and no more cold feet. Initially a few comments in the office due to creaks and squeaks but soon sorted with a little Arai helmet silicon. Can't recommend highly enough. Usual excellent customer care from Sportsbikeshop.
I bought these are couple of weeks ago and have to say the quality is pretty amazing. These are built like a brick outhouse. Very comfortable with excellent protection. They will take a little while to break in (not a lot of movement at the moment to change gear) but once done I can see these being pretty much perfect.
I purchased these as my winter commute boots and they are excellent. Very comfortable and warm. Also rode in a huge downpour and they kept me bone dry. They were a little stiff at first but have softened. The buckles feel very robust as does the large Velcro panel.
