Givi V56NN Maxia 4 Monokey Top Case - 56 Litre
Customer Product Reviews
Classy and practical
Follows a pattern I already use and allows the use of equipment I already have (plate). Simple to use and passenger friendly(back rest) Modern styling matches the bike and extra size allows more storage for those long journeys.
Great top box
Great size, easily fitted two helmets in it, and the padding that lines the bottom helps keep them snug. Key/handle/monokey system works brilliantly, easy to operate. The key feels more premium than my Givi side cases, so that is an improvement. Very light, and looks good on the bike. Very happy overall.
Good ,spacious box.
This box came with a foam rubber insert, dulls any rattling from things carried. Bought this to attach to my new FJR as I had got tired of switching topboxes. Pleased with the space and as mentioned earlier it dulls the annoying clunk, over bumps, that emanated from my old top box when carrying locks. As usual excellent service from Sportsbikeshop.
lighter than the old 46L version
so far so good. no turbulence from it.looks well built. Just in case anybody else was looking at weight. The new box feels the same weight as the the old 46L version but obviously is bigger, so worth changing to. In my opinion a big step backwards is the fact you can now lock the key in the top box by accident. by just closing the lid. Don't dismiss this as only an idiot would mange it. I worked for the RAC for a long time and the amount of LOCK OUTS I did was unreal 10 a day in Heathrow so you are capable of doing it, I can tell you now that you can only get into this box with damage unless you find a lock smith so start saving.
Excellent piece of kit
This is a quality top box, sturdy and well made. Huge capacity, easily takes 2 flip helmets plus gloves etc. Stylish imho and looks good on the bike, the carbon fibre effect top panel means it fits with all bike colours. if you're looking for a big top box I'd recommend this one. Service from SBS excellent as always!
The box is of a superior build quality and this is obviously reflected in the pricing. I had a little trouble getting the box to lock on but found that a good push down did the trick. It looks great and the capacity is easily enough for 2 helmets. Worth paying for the quality in my opinion.
