RST Tractech Evo 3 CE Waterproof Boots - Black / Black
Customer Product Reviews
I have wide feet and need plenty of room. These boots are very comfortable, great quality and great value. In fact when my son tried mine on he also purchased a pair. My only criticism is the calf area should be larger. It is difficult to zip these boots up over leathers.
RST Tractech Evo 3
Good reliable boots, this is my second pair as I was broadsided by a car, these boots saved my foot, They are comfy and warm, only niggle is the Velcro fastening which comes loose after time, wish it was on the outside. Apart from that a great well priced boot
So comfortable these boots! Had been looking at RST's for some time and then my old boots split mid journey. I dropped into SBS near Bletchley and the team looked after me like royalty - 30 mins later I exited with warm dry feet and a smile on my face. What I like about these boots is they don't cost the earth but feel good quality. Enough flex in the ankle when your feet are on the pegs, but firm enough to feel super supported. So, one month in and these have been a very good buy!
Comfortable boots with good toe sliders
I've tried a few sorts boots and found them all uncomfortable, haven't worn these in yet but initially feel good (one size bigger) chose them for the large toe sliders after wearing a hole through my last new boots In three trackdays, right next to the small toe sliders. Also impressed not only are the toe sliders available but Sportsbikeshop have them in stock
Comfortable and waterproof
Great boots. Do order one size up and they're perfect. The zip on left boot is stiff (have seen this on other reviews as well). Apparently does get easier. Have worn during a couple of real downpours and feet stayed lovely and dry. Protection feels very good.
Currently one of my favourite pieces of gear. These boots are very comfortable. I went back and forth trying to decide between other brands like alpinestars etc but I'm glad I chose these. They are built like a tank. Feel very protective and are waterproof which helps in the English commute. The zipper on the left boot sometimes catches a bit when trying to unzip but this will ease in with time I believe. I hope I never have to test them but the supportive armor and heavy duty slider gives me confidence that when that day comes my feet and ankles will thank me for making this investment.
I bought these for winter commuting. Size wise I went for my regular size, initially I found them a little snug but after wearing them for a few weeks I can now comfortably get thicker socks in them. They've easily withstood several downpours and feet are completely dry. I wear them with textile trousers over the boots but I think I'd struggle to get some leathers tucked in them. I'd definitely recommend these boots for commuting.
Go a size up!
Great boots. Had the previous generation & served me well for over 2 years. Definitely go a size up, as other reviews say. I did find this weird, as the previous generation fit perfectly in my true size but hey ho. Great boots, very waterproof.
Replacement for Evo s which leaked after 5 years. Ridden in heavy rain on motorway and proved waterproof. Tight fit, bought and am a 10 but after three weeks use starting to ease and break in, but need to give a bit more yet. Maybe should have gone half size bigger? Zip was very stiff to start with, but easing with use. Textile trousers fit nicely over and velcro around the lower calf easily without riding up - better than Evo s. Look is a bit pedestrian; not as flashy as the Evo s which still look great and will use when dry. And Sportsbikeshop were making competitor price, so got a bit off the usual price too!
Great Boots and waterproof
Great Boots by RST been caught in rain a few times now kept feet nice and dry, very comfortable, boots are stiff and has taken a little while to break so expect them to be stiff a little while, calf opening quite narrow so def not a boot for someone with big calfs in quite slim and with my leathers on tucked Into boot they just zip up with a very snug fit, and my leathers won't zip over the top of then, but my textiles do without issue as they are more roomy at the openings. Great Boots, found sizing to be spot on take size 10 and size 10 fits no dramas great boots love em although they do squeak a little when walking about but that don't bother me anyways but much better quality than my old WP spadas their replacing.
These boots feel great on the bike and are comfortable off the bike, but wouldn't want to walk too far in them. They are a bit hot and sweaty in the summer, so would consider getting the version with the vents and perforations for any guaranteed hot weather riding. The toecap is a boxed section which I managed to put a big dent in within the first week, by moving the bike back with the side stand out and rolling it onto my foot (It did hurt). Lucky I managed to push the dent out again, so all good. I've also noticed that when I kneeled down to padlock the bike, the lorica material on the toes was scuffed up quite badly, so I'm careful to avoid this now. I'm guessing any type of off will mean it's new boots time. Had to order a size up and had to order the wife 2 sizes up (she's part yeti).
Good but heavy
Wearing these for about a month now, they look and feel the part but are still nothing like the rst paragon boots for walking in ,hopefully in time they will break in,also I noticed the slider on the left boot was slightly crooked so I decided to tighten it ......and the inner fixing on the lowest nut gave way,as in its came out of its fixing internally, but the slider is straight and secure now,did not return as postage from Ireland was not free so hopefully they will last as long as my trusted paragons
Excellent boots. Not tested in heavy rain yet but they are doing well in the heat. True to size. I'm an 11 and an 11 fits perfectly. I haven't found the zip tight at all like some other. I have full rst gear now and its all 10/10. SBS where of course as great as always too!
