RST Tractech Evo 3 CE Waterproof Boots - Black / Black
Customer Product Reviews
Excellent boots. Not tested in heavy rain yet but they are doing well in the heat. True to size. I'm an 11 and an 11 fits perfectly. I haven't found the zip tight at all like some other. I have full rst gear now and its all 10/10. SBS where of course as great as always too!
Very good boots
Really well made and very waterproof and comfortable. RST has done really well with the Evo 3 I have been using my Evo 2 boots for 5 years now and They last me really well. I hope the to get the same amount of years out or the new ones
The only piece of advice I can give out is that if you are in between two sizes go for the bigger one. They are a tiny bit to the smaller size because of which I had to get another pair (ordered 43 initially, had to go for 44). Apart from that don't think too much if you are wondering, these boots are great.
Decent boots but not great
Pros : great supportive boot and seems pretty hard wearing after months of daily use. Cons : leather is really tough and took an age to break in. Even now they're still quite stiff. Also they're not fully waterproof. They try and are normally successful but after a recent day riding in consistent rain I had wet feet
Comfy and great value
I bought my normal UK shoe size and they fit well. They are a slightly narrow fit, but even thoughh I have wide feet they are fine. Wore them for about 7 hours first time out with no problems. They seem well made and very supportive. Can't comment on waterproofing as have not had any rain yet.
Sturdy Boot, comfy and dry!
Out of the box these boots seemed like a lot more boot than the money I'd paid would have got me! They look great and the quality is really nice, they seem like they would really protect my feet in a crash, although they are very stiff. I usually wear an 8.5/9 and I bought a 9 and a 10. In the end I kept the 10 and returned the 9, the 10 have got a little roomy since but the 9 were so tight I could barely have them on for 5 mins before they made me feel like my feet were getting claustrophobic! Imagine a medium head and a size small helmet, that was the feeling! So go a size up I'd suggest, but with sportsbikeshop's awesome returns, buy as many sizes as you like and keep the one most suitable!
Very well made boots and another quality product from RST. They are definitely waterproof as I found out here in sunny Scotland. I have slim legs so are a great fit on my calf's. They would maybe be a bit tight on someone with bigger calf's. I also have slim feet and we're good that way as well. I would recommend going up a size compared to your normal shoe size. I had TCX boots before and they were good but in my opinion the Rst boots are better and easier to actually walk on. A special thanks to Sportsbikeshop for their rapid delivery as usual.
Only had these a month so I can't comment on longevity. They're waterproof so that's a good start. They feel well made and look good. They lose a point for me as they're a bit tight around the forefoot/midfoot but loose around the ankle. Fine if you're tucking leathers in, but not if you aren't.
Fair pair of boots
Good looking and well priced. Sizing fits true which is ideal, first pair of proper boots so not much to judge them against but seem to be wearing in well now. Not tested waterproofing. Look better than the previous model, shape of the toe sliders is a lot better
Warm waterproof boot
I ordered a size up and they fit pretty well. Very warm and waterproof so far. The left boot has a bit of a crease in the waterproof lining which can make walking a distance a bit of a pain, but then they're not walking boots. Loads of protection. Fit under my jeans. Fit over my leathers. All in all pretty good.
Great value for money
Great boots for the price. Had to do some hard driving to break them in (was difficult even to shift gears as they are so stiff at the beginning), but after that, seems to be quite good. Waterproof membrane at zipping area makes it hard to zip them easy and fit on top of leather suit, but with time seems it is becoming easier.
