Richa Ravine Leather Gloves - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Amazing quality - Tested!!!!
I came off my bike last week wearing these gloves, Slid like superman across my belly - hands out in front along the tarmac, Gloves did there job! Just the padding on the palm came off. The actually glove stayed intact perfectly. Ordered another pair right away. Wouldn't buy any other glove now, trusted glove!
Comfortable and well made
These gloves are comfortable and well made. I purchased this pair as a replacement for an identical but old and well-used pair which were beginning to look tatty (although the stitching never failed). Having spent too much on more expensive gloves I finally returned to these as the ones that are so good that I forget I'm wearing them. They are ideal for spring and autumn (albeit not waterproof), but can be used year round.
Well priced and good quality
Good fit for me with long fingers. Typical good quality from Richa at a reasonable price. There is a thin lining in the glove which makes them feel much more comfortable than a lot of other sports gloves, certainly in this price range; whether this will make them a tad sweaty during the hottest weather remains to be seen but, generally, they should be fine. Definitely worth comparing with other, more expensive, gloves.
Fit for purpose
They feel thick, compared to my old gloves...but that's probably the difference of several thousand miles, hopefully they soften. Decent armour, secure with the cuff straps that go over jackets etc etc, again, they've only done a few hundred miles.
Bought these gloves after having a pair of Buffalo gloves which needed replacing due to the Velcro strap disintegrating after a few weeks. Very comfortable to wear, nice airflow too and great quality. Very happy with this purchase.
Another superb Richa glove
I purchased these to replace an old pair of Frank Thomas race gloves and I wasn't surprised by the quality having already owned a pair of Richa spring / autumn gloves. The leather is soft and comfortable with a thin Velco strap securing the glove around the wrist itself, and an overlap of leather around the forearm area securing the glove around the forearm. The fingers are pre-curved and fit snugly from the word go, and offer good padding / protection without losing dexterity. A hard carbon fibre knuckle protector takes care of the back of the hand and the usual soft foam filled pads ensure that the fingers / palm are safe in the event of a spill. These look and feel like a glove that would cost twice the price.
