I brought these after trying on several boots, but to be fair these are just superior in comfort to any others. However they may be sacrificing on safety to improve comfort. For me they are perfect I am a size 11 and ordered the 46 size, I can walk around in them all day and no rubbing or throbbing feet. I have not had a chance to test waterproofing fully yet though
