The Shad top box offers excellent value and is built to last. It easily accommodates a full-face helmet, making it ideal for smaller motorcycles and scooters. Installing it on my motorcycle luggage rack was straightforward. The locking mechanism is very stiff from new, making it difficult to connect the top box to the fitting plate. Spraying WD-40 to lubricate the lock should help.
