After having at least 5 Shoei Neotec's I decided to try the Schuberth J2 Blimey lumps bumps and an awful feeling on head god knows what style head you need for one of them. So we went for the Shoei J3 which instantly felt more quality and far more comfort. We had short ride and all felt good. Then I installed my Cardo Packtalk s see that here on my youtube channel. https://youtu.be/fGVSCIjgdWY?si=uZQGYN_bMkLyZn_l How ever after using the helmet for a few hundred miles my right ear hurts don't know what to do all is fitted well cant adjust anything! It would be nice to have the next size down cheek pads maybe. These come with 35 in I think Neotec was 34 ? Also the helmet comes PINLOCK ready but they don't give you a pinlock? .They do with Notec's Anyway Im far from a fan of pinlocks so it didn't really bother me but what does is line of vision when the visor is clipped down and you look left are right you can see these white pinlock nuts its rather annoying, Another thing is the strap is very short IMHO its maxed out for my neck. I also I knock a point off for the drop down sun visor is far to light in sunshine its very weak. Now the good parts. The J3 is very light my L is 150g Christines M is 140g they are well made easy to clean, It vents OK if you drop your screen, Vision is very good and when visor is clipped down its relatively quiet. I don't understand where the prices come from as al helmets now are so expensive stick comes in and your up to £900.Anyeay I would recommend this helmet if your going down the open pace route. Sportsbikeshop had all sizes to try its just a shame they don't offer the check pad or skull cap swap.
