Other reviews have also mentioned this, the rack is incredibly tight fitting where it mounts by the seat. I did manage to fit it , but absolutely no chance you could do it as per the instructions. There is no room for the additional washers. I have since removed and modified the rack by cutting down the hollow mounting points so that it is possible to feed the rack down past the seat. I have then added a number of small washers to replace the metal that I cut away. The rack is now much easier to fit and remove, which is important as occasionally I do need to remove the seat and you can't do this with the rack in place.
