I am short and solid and few trousers are made to fit weirdo shapes like mine. I ordered but had to wait a while for them to be in stock. They fit nicely, I went 38S even though I know I am 40+ and as you can see my considerable gut is doing a good job of escaping them, but I can't cope with baggy legs if I go too big. They are tiny bit snug on the thighs but I do have solid thighs as well, and they are a bit gathered on the ankles but my 28 inch inside leg is shameful. I have worn them a couple of times now, including some short walks, and although I would not like to climb Everest in them I could wear them all day without complaint and they are very light and cooling, which after all is what we are after. The zipped pockets are tiny but feel substantiaI. I like these trousers, they look good and I would buy them again, but do think they are a tad overpriced for what they are.
