I’m hugely impressed with this Sena Spider ST1. It was so easy to connect with my friends Sena 60S, it almost seemed like it did it itself. I’ve had cheaper Bluetooth intercoms and they have always been a faff to connect and disappointing in performance, so much so that I’d given up on rider to rider comms, and only used for sat nav directions and music. This Sena Spider is in a different league. The comms were so clear, so good, I’m a total convert after only one ride. We were riding for for 4-5 hours, with stops. Reconnecting after our lunch stop was remarkably easier. The comms worked even over quite a distance where we had lost sight of each other. It enabled us to more confidently over take, we could inform each other of our intention and not have to worry about losing contact. We could warn each other of other drivers and hazards. We could also simply chat about things (I was reminded of Ewan and Charlie, Si and Dave (dear Dave RIP). I just thought I should have done this sooner! Also particularly pleasing is that this model is currently discounted by 20% Oh, and the battery had hardly gone down at all. After 4-5 hours riding it had only dropped to 87% of the charge remaining.
