Had issues with another purchase (outside ankle armour was uncomfortable RST) Was suggested to exchange for these and I’m glad I did, super comfortable on the top half and ankle support, easy to lace and use the Velcro strap. Protection is on the exterior, you have good toe feel on the rear sets too. Useable once you get off the bike unlike some boots.
