Great all season jacket

Got caught in a thunderstorm and luckily had my new Oxford Mondial 2.0 in my soft pack bag. Off with the airflow jacket and on with the new! As when I tried a large number of jackets at Norwich Sportsbike shop, the Mondial instantly felt comfortable and fitted like a pair of favourite gloves. I always go one size up as I know that on cold days I'll be wearing a thick, wooly, jumper and possibly a Gillette too depending on how warm I need to be. So for me I go from L to XL and it just gives that little bit more freedom for expansion, though even with just a T-shirt underneath it still feels comfortable and just right. The warm liner comes out easily on warmer days and with the vents open there's plenty of air moving through, though the chest vents take some practice tacking them open on the tucked away velcro tabs. The sleeves/cuffs are great at keeping water out, as is the comfortable collar that is easy to fix open or closed, though I generally wear a neck tub too. There are plenty of pockets to keep everything safe and being a laminated jacket you remain bone dry. Really can't fault this superb quality jacket as an all rounder for short trips and long tours alike. I tried the Oxford Stormland jacket and, although superb too, I found it just a bit too bulky for my liking, just a personal thing really. Can't really recommend this jacket enough, you will not be disappointed and now it's been reduced to £199 I'd bite their arms off for the remaining stock! Finally, think the black/olive looks really smart.
