I've been riding for years. I ride all year round and need good quality solid gear that's reliable. I've had shark helmets, xlite, cabergs and all sorts. This year, I needed to replace my shark skwall i3 with something comfortable, safe ( yes I check sharp ratings ), something with a ratchet chin strap, something with a drop down visor, looks good, has emergency release tabs and has quick release visor system. Well, despite this being the second cheapest helmet I've ever owned, this MT Helmet really has surprised me. It's everything I wanted and more in a helmet. Are the vents a little cheap feeling? Sure. But that's about as far as the cheap feelings go. Everything else on this helmet is just as good and safe as any other helmet. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it far exceeds my expectations and is far more aerodynamic and comfortable than my shark ever was. If you find yourself looking for a reliable, affordable, comfortable and feature packed helmet, do not skip this as a serious contender
