After far too long I replaced an ageing Shoei XR1000 (with irreplaceable liner) with the HJC RPHA 72. This colourway was reduced (a lot) and was the colour I would have picked anyway (my wife says it goes with the spare bike, a KTM 390 Adventure). I invested the reduction in the HJC comms to suit - the first comms we've had and now wouldn't be without. It's a tight squeeze to get into the helmet but that's fine because once in the fit is perfect and suits her oval head shape. With the old Shoei she had to wear sunglasses, which caused some discomfort, but she really appreciates the drop down sun-visor. Altogether a happy pillion, with the photos taken yesterday at lunch at Ampleforth Abbey to warm up after she completed a fell race at Sutton Bank, Thirsk.
