Waterproof? Absolutely. Practical? That's another matter! Essentially, these are a pair of waterproof plastic bags shaped roughly like mittens, made from the same material as the Oxford Rainseal jacket and over trousers. They certainly do what they're designed to do: keep the rain out. No complaints whatsoever on that front. However, putting them over an already substantial pair of winter motorcycle gloves does make for an interesting experience. Dexterity becomes something of a distant memory, and simple tasks such as operating keys, unlocking panniers or handling anything requiring individual fingers become a challenge worthy of a particularly frustrating episode of an escape room! Still, there's no denying they work. Your hands stay dry, which is rather the whole point. So, if you're looking for waterproof hands and aren't particularly bothered about being able to use your fingers, these are well worth considering! Verdict: 5 stars for keeping the rain out, perhaps 2 for retaining the ability to function as a human being!
