Since buying a Kriega Kube Tablet case in 2018 I estimate it has travelled more than a quarter of a million air miles, tens of thousands of miles by road and train, and more than 100,000 miles on a motorcycle.
It's kept my iPad safely tucked away throughout motorcycle adventures in six of the world’s continents, and through some very challenging environments.
The case's padded construction has protected my tech over long distances on tarmac across Europe, the deserts of Morocco and brutal road surfaces in Northern India and Nepal.
In 2024 I rode from the most easterly point on the North American continent to the most westerly point you can reach by motorcycle, in Alaska.
This was a journey of 12,400 miles on long isolated roads, incredible unpaved roads and ferocious tracks that threatened to break the bike and the rider.
Through all of this I never gave my iPad a second thought as it bounced around in my luggage, or was thrown into my tent as I got in my sleeping bag and tried to forget about the bears living in the wilderness outside.
Not only has my iPad survived the travels, the case still looks as fresh as it did when I first bought it.
After a quick wipe over with a damp cloth it’s as good as new, ready for my next adventure.
I bought the tablet case after I'd already gone for the Kriega Kube Laptop Case case beforehand, which had already proven itself to be excellent.
The laptop case is also still going strong after eight years of use, and has kept my electronics in perfect condition throughout.
Both cases remain in great condition and I hope I am not tempting fate by saying that I don’t think I will be making a claim for either item under Kriega's 10-year warranty.
