Jacket fits well and gives good ventilation.
Only 1 zip pocket on r/h forearm.
Other pockets secure with velcro which doesn't reach the full length of pocket opening, wouldn't trust anything of value in there.
Still very pleased with purchase.

Love that the winter liner is a proper jacket. Great for keeping warm on cold days. It does come up a little larger than other Marlin jackets but that allows me to use it as a waterproof jacket over my Merlin Hixon 2.

Works really well as a summer mesh jacket and love the styling. I added a back protector in the pocket, fit with this was still great and comfortable.

I took ages decided on a jacket and initially was looking for a waterproof textile jacket. Finally settled on the Gable 2 as it ticked all the boxes. It's waterproof, AAA rated with D30 armour and suited my casual look. The leather was quite stiff at first, but it has become very comfortable and has softened up with use. I've already ridden in moderately hard rain and was kept completely dry. My only niggle was a few threads that were hanging from one of the cuffs.
That said, I'm very happy with the jacket.
Big shout out to the staff at Milton Keynes who were very helpful and price matched another retailer.

I was looking for a jacket for the hot days we have been having and this is like wearing a T-shirt but safe in the knowledge I am protected. If riding in the morning I would recommend a hoodie to go over the top as you will be cold, but the afternoon ride will be fantastic.
