Alpinestars GP Force Leather Jacket - Black / Black After much deliberation and research I settled on the Alpinestar GP force jacket. Ordered on a Sunday evening, delivered on Wednesday. Top class service once again from Sportsbike shop. Kept informed at all time during delivery regarding progress. Top quality jacket. Soft supple leather, went one size up, fits perfect. Went for all black which looks very classy, yet understated. Beautiful quality jacket at very competitive price delivered in super quick time, considering I live in Northern Ireland. Can't fault Sportsbikeshop for service, would definitely recommend.
Alpinestars GP Force Airflow Leather Jacket - Black This is Alpinestars mid-range jacket and it's good. Leather is nice, so is the level 2 nucelon pro armour. But it's a premium price and I'm not sure the quality is actually better than other garments. It's made in Vietnam and you are paying for the AStars logo.
They come up small. I'm usually a 52 chest and had to go 54 (I do use the Tech-Air 5)
Alpinestars GP Force Airflow Leather Jacket - Black This is a very comfortable and well fitting jacket. I wanted a perforated leather jacket for spring to autumn and this is great option. The jacket flows a huge amount of air, great for hot weather. You can add the liner on to take the edge off if the weather becomes cooler. The leather is supple and flexible and for someone who tends to run hotter, this is a perfect option. I am 6ft 1 inch normally have a 42 inch chest - I went for Size 44 and it fits really well. I also have a knox mesh jacket, but this is now my go-to when it is not super cold. Highly recommended.
Alpinestars GP Plus R V3 Rideknit Leather Jacket - Black / Fluo Yellow If you want to wear full leathers in plus 20C heat this makes it possible.
Fit - spot on.
Looks - fantastic.
Air flow - for what it is amazing! Sure it's not a full mesh if say an Urbane Pro was a 10 this is a solid 7.5 with say a normal jacket being a 4.
Zips - nice an chunky so easy on and off.
Love this jacket, you honestly forget your wearing it. Soooooo comfy it is unreal!
Alpinestars Missile V2 Leather Jacket - Black / White / Red Fluo I'm a fan of Alpinestars gear and this jacket is no exception. The quality is as you would expect from Alpinestars, and the fit is perfect for me. Enough pockets (3 internal, 2 external) to be practical but still retains the sports fit and feel. I found this jacket to be considerably lighter and the new flexible armour less restricting than my old GP Pro, making it a lot more comfortable for riding in. Nice that it's compatible with the Tech-Air system too. 5 out of 5 for me!
