Draughty and clammy

Ordered Andes V2 for a trip I was going on, it turned out they weren't going to be in stock two days before I was due to depart so I opted for these. First impressions were good, they seemed good quality and looked nice. I ordered the XL due to other reviews stating to go a size up, they are big still for me and I'm 6ft 2 with a 36" waist. The waist adjustment is slight and these fall down if worn without the zip done to the jacket(havent tried the braces yet) when on the tightest setting. At the lower part of the leg there is only a velcro strap, whilst this seems strong you dont get a good fit around the boot and whilst riding the leg flaps and you get a draught right up your legs! I'm considering getting more velcro stitched on. Without the lining in they are very clammy on warmer days, the XL fits nicely over a pair of Jeans however. The ventilation is ok, the front vents/pockets dont do much as they are positioned in such a way that doesnt allow wind to flow in as much as over. Overall they are fine but I did expect more from Alpinestsrs

Alpinestars Raider Drystar Pants

Usual Alpinestars quality, really warm pants, had to take the liner out right away and open the vents. I'm a 33" waste and the large fit well with a bit of room, think the med would have been too tight. Very comfortable, haven't tried them in the rain yet, but my experience of the Drystar gear is that's it's really good in the wet

Bike Jeans Purchase

Very comfy jeans indeed, don't look like bike jeans and look very stylish, would definitely recommend a pair of these. Reasonably priced, heavy duty but light at the same time. Normally wear between a 32-34 depending on jean make but found with these getting a 34 fitted perfectly.
