We've been serving the motorcycle community for more than 15 years now and in that time we've grown to be the largest online retailer of motorcycle clothing & accessories in the UK.
There's a reason why our competitors spend so much time watching what we do, we believe in customer service levels beyond the norm and we're always looking for ways to improve. In late 2013 we were recognised for this by the bike industry's No.1 publication, Motorcycle News. As retailer of the year, we feel it's our duty to constantly better our offering and if you have any ideas, we'd love to hear from you!
Flip Up Helmets
Flip up motorcycle helmets
Great product from a trusted manufacturer.
A comfortable fit right from the start. All the catches and levers are easy to find and use with gloves on. The chin bar lock is positive and easy to use, unlike some. Some people complain about wind noise, but I have found it to be no worse than the old Caberg Duke I was wearing. All flip fronts tend to be noisier because of the join. Once on, there are no annoying drafts, because of the padding all round. The only downsides are the chin bar release catch which is a bit stiff, but will probably wear in. The chin strap could do with being a bit longer, and glasses don't slide in to the sides too easily. Other than these relatively little problems, this is a good, solidly built helmet from a tried and trusted manufacturer.Read more
OK, but doesn't fare well with pinlock
A typical build by HJC - sturdy, comfortable, good looking. However, despite being pinlock ready, the visor cannot accommodate a pinlock because the rubber seals will scrape on opening, and very soon will scratch the top of your view. I returned mine because it was just not worth the regular inconvenience. Quite a shame really.Read more
Bought as a replacement for a Schuberth C2, the C4 Pro is excellent, representing a significant advance on the C2, which was already a great helmet. Build quality is good, although the plastic flip release button feels a little flimsy. Lining and fit are first class, as is the strap and buckle. Having pre-installed speakers and microphone saves the hassle of having to install them. Shifting the sun visor actuator to the base of the helmet is a real improvement and stops accidental dropping of the sun shield. Have not done a long motorway trip yet but early signs are that noise levels have also improved. My only minor concern is that the SHARP rating for the C4 Pro is lower than the C2, Overall - not a cheap helmet, but you get what you pay for and the Sportsbikeshop interest free credit option eases the pain.Read more
