This is by far the best open face I have bought in 40 yrs. Great fit, really comfortable lining, detachable is a bonus for cleaning we have all had a favourite lid that over time gets manky, problem solved with this one. The rust effect is cool and you don't look like you have a massive ball on your head when you wear it. I tried about 5 different lids before I bought this, some looked great until you put it on then instantly you look like pumpkin head thank god for amazon returns then I caught a review and gave the freeride a whirl Happy now

Received helmet with the usual Sports Bike Shop excellent service. Was concerned that I had ordered a size small but after wearing for a short period was convinced that it was correct. The helmet itself is a Top Class article and the paint job is fantastic. So in every way I am delighted.

second purchase
This is my second Caberg Riviera, the first being white which needed replacing. It's light and comfortable and doesn't produce too much noise at speed. The visor gives good facial coverage (and an excellent field of view) and is so clear I often forget it's down. The 'ear pads' sometimes come out when taking the helmet off but they just clip back in. The sun visor is useful but a close fit if you wear glasses.
