Motorcycle Exhausts

The Scorpion exhaust was very competitively priced and is very well made. It fitted easily and the result works very well.

I had to wait almost 10 weeks for this product which wasn't the issue as it was stated when i bought this that it would be around 9 weeks delivery.
I called up around the 9 week mark where I was advised that the exhaust was due the following Monday. Massively excited I took the day off work, removed the old exhaust and set my day up to get it fitted and set out for the evening with friends. After waiting until mid afternoon, it hadn't arrived, so I called up. They told me that they had problems with their supplier and would get straight back to me. They didn't, they just updated my expected time on my account to a further 6 weeks wait.
The day was a right off, cost me money, time, embarrassment and they couldn't even bother to call me. I called Sportsbike shop again the next day. It was clear that they had not even ordered it in the first place, they offered no solution or apology, just offered to cancel the order? I was furious, I was left with my bike in bits for another 9 weeks, this just wasn't acceptable.
I made the suggestion that I could purchase the more expensive Carbon version which they had in stock and asked if they could drop the price to what it was when I made the orinlginal purchase. They again said they would get back to me with an outcome, which again they didn't.
Called back 2 days after, again no apology, no excuse, just the fact that they could do it. So I payed the more expensive price and they organised next day delivery before 12pm which was appreciated.
The exhaust is 5 star, totally amazing product and is easy to fit.
It's extremely loud which is what the Ninja 650 needs and build quality and looks, again are 5 star.
Service and customer service from Sportsbikeshop is a one star at the best. Very disappointing experience.

The first thing you notice is how well the can is made. The joints are snug but not tight. 50 minutes and the end can was fitted.
First ride showed how restrictive the Kawasaki end can was. The engine is a little more responsive. With the dB killer fitted it makes a little more noise than the original so you are not going to annoy anyone. I have not taken the dB killer out so can't comment on the noise (Scorpion claim a 2dB increase. Enough to be noticed but not outlandish).
Overall I am very happy with this end can.
