These are replacements for a set from a different manufacturer that chipped when the bike fell over so I wouldn't trust them in a crash. They have a much better feel to them and hopefully being R&G will be as good as they look if they are ever "tested"

R&G standard round crash bobbins use de-embrittled high-tensile steel bolts which are designed to bend on impact rather than to shear or snap.
