Wide hands and short fingers so very hard to find gloves that fit. Ideal for me although tight on back of hand around knuckles and around index fingers when bending fingers but leather so should stretch. Not tested on road yet so...
Bit pricey but considering how you can choose fitment, well worth the price. Lovely feel to them and protection without looking ott. Great service from SBS.
I'd heard about gloves being made from kangaroo skin having loads of feel. We'll all the hype was absolutely true, from the very first they were extremely comfortable, I could use the throttle with real finesse rather than the usual glove bunching on the grips. Super thin, protective and really well made, stitching is first class.
Gloves were excellent + would have been even better if 'new'.
Old + poor packaging indicated returned stock (more than once?).
Return of gloves readily accepted + paid for by Sportsbikeshop but meant a 15 mile drive to UPS agent.
Disappointed in seller as usually top class.

The beauty of these gloves, like several Held gloves, is that they come in different finger lengths. No more floppy-ended gloves or too-tight fit, or both! They are more of a tourer than a sports glove and don't have knobbly bits of carbon on them, but they are well padded and look to provide good cushioning and protection, especially on the heel of the hand, an area highly likely to take an impact but often overlooked. They are really flexible and don't inhibit movement at all, and the straps do up easily. Light grey on the palm and black on the back, they also have a visor wipe. Usual brilliant service from Sportsbikeshop. I ordered two different finger lengths and returned the unwanted one for refund, which was processed within a day or two.
I'm a mutant! Unfortunately my mutation didn't get me accepted into the X-Men and so I have to make my own costume. I started with the gloves which have to adapt to my particular mutation of wide palms and short fingers. These Held (Steve) Classic fit me perfectly and offer good grip with total control of the errm...controls. I would describe them as a summer glove and I think that their snugness would exclude any inner glove. The glove palm is a light grey not an almost-white that is displayed on my screen. Problems? The only minor issue is my jacket sleeves push the glove wrist adjuster into the back of my hand causing slight discomfort if I forget to adjust things before riding. If your arms are in proportion to your body (don't get smug) there won't be a problem.
