Got a thirst for knowledge that extends to the markings on your bike's tyres? Allow us to quench that for you...
I've had these tyres before so they are a replacement for the worn ones. Can't fault them..
Bought these for my Suzuki GS500f commuter and they're perfect for the job! I got them for the best price from sportsbikeshop and they arrived quickly - great service as always
Bought for my Bonneville SE 2012, feel much better than the stock tyres. Only early days with them but so far very happy.
Bought for my 2010 Bonnie SE after recommendation on various sites and forums. Feel slightly different to the stock Metzeler ones and for the better, although no profound differences that I've noticed (although these Avons are cheaper then the Metzeler and made in England). I've had no problems with grip or performance (including in some wet weather and 'spirited' riding). I've had them on for about 400 or so miles so far so cannot fully judge how they wear, but no problems so far and all look good. Sportsbikeshop, as always, offered the best value anywhere and extremely fast delivery. Highly recommended - I'll probably be putting the rear ones on when the Battlax wears out.
Big difference to the old Metzeler stock tyres that came with the Bonnie. Smooth as you like.
The compound of the Avon Roadrider has been specially formulated to give excellent road holding in both the wet and dry. The actual carcass design gives the tyre a large footprint at all angles instilling confidence in the rider. All Roadriders are V speed rated, that is manufactured for speeds up to 149mph (240kph), further reinforces the tyres high performance credentials.
