Positive feel, slow to wear

On wet and dry surfaces the Storm has exceptional grip at all angles and more importantly communicates its performance to the rider through the bike. This is a real bonus to any rider new or old and provides confidence through feedback. Unlike the brand they replaced which was like a switch, either on or off. Knowing when the limit was reached did not inspire a happy ride.

The Avon Storm 2 Ultra is an evolution of Avon's award winning Storm-ST range, giving more mileage and more grip than its predecessor. The multi compound Super Rich Silica (SRS) treads gives rear tyres an extra 12% mileage. New technology is incorporated in the 0 degree belting system and dynamic stresses within the carcass have been tuned. This new technology doesn't only increase the mechanical grip, giving improved traction in all weather conditions, but it also enhances handling and rider comfort.
