Good Oil and first rate service from the Sportsbi

This is the oil the bike 2012 BMW GS has had from new, it has now done over 111,000 miles and still going strong.

I’ve used this in my BMW R nine T for the past 7 years, it’s the same specification as BMW’s own oil but a lot cheaper, engines running sweet after all these years so it must be good.

Owning 2 BMWs and a VW I've found they can be quite picky when it comes to oil so it's always a treat when SBS has it discounted, this time, just in time for my r1100s oil change. I like that SBS stock a wide variety of Castrol oils too.
A great selection of other items too and often great discounts across a wide selection of items.

Stepped up from 10w/40w to 15w/55w and engine is noticeably smoother especially on start up.
It states not to use this oil in minus conditions but I don’t use the bike in winter anyway.

Bought this for my BMW F800 service.

Have always used this same oil in my BMW r 1200gsa 2010.

Castrol Power 1 GPS 4T is a part synthetic 4-stroke engine oil designed for the latest generation of sport, touring and on-off road bikes from leading European and Japanese manufacturers. 10W-30 has been developed for engines that specifically require a low viscosity lubricant; 10W-40 is suitable for high performance bikes including highly stressed multi cylinder units; 15W-50 is particularly well suited for large sized, air cooled mono and twins. It is also well suited for high mileage engines that require good high temperature viscosity and oil consumption control. Castrol Power 1 GPS employs the very latest Trizone Technology that gives optimum protection to the engine, clutch and gears even under the most arduous conditions, including sustained operations at high rpm.
