It's ok for a rear brake.

I changed my sintered pads for this and has nowhere near the grip.
But on the other hand it can be a good thing so it won't lock up the rear wheel.
Just bear in mind.

Easy to install and work great not sure how they wear yet and don't seem as grippy as previous pads I've tried but so far work great.

The EBC V series brakes pads provide excellent stopping power specifically designed for touring bikes. The pads are semi-sintered pad containing 30% copper by weight, this combines the benefits of the feel of an organic pad plus the low heat generation and rotor galling features with the lifetime of a sintered pad.
