Shark Evoline Pro Carbon - Matt Black

I had the non carbon one of these and loved it because of the full flip of chin bar. This was bought for my wife in XS as good price. Turns out she is only an XS in Aria ! The S was in the sale and the excellent service from Sportsbikeshop swapped it without it costing me anything.

Bought a pair of these mainly to use touring in hot climates. Went to the Alps in July with temps up to 38 degrees. For this they are absolutely fantastic and would have got 5*.
BUT, when it rained on the last 2 days the water pours in, not just leaks, but runs from inside the shell into the lining and inside the visor.
I suspect it enters through the dark shade slider or air vent on the top.
Not just bad luck on 1 helmet, it was same on both.
The benefits in hot dry use means I won't send them back but beware of you want them to ride in rain a lot.

Certainly lighter, but not as much as I expected .

The cut outs for earpieces make fitting intercom a breeze.

New 'visor' push function means no faffing with the visor before opening the front up. One click and up it all goes. Compared to a Roof helmet this is so good.

Great helmet very comfortable, and light. Fitted a headset easily and works great. Love the Flip up part, can be used open face or full helmet. Good sun visor as well. Would recommend this helmet and the great service from Sportsbikeshop and Shark.

Good fit, very comfortable. Can be fitted with a head set as it has all the holes and groves for it to sit in helmet padding already. The open face whilst riding is a great feature. The drop down sun visor is cool - instant sun shade and easily retracted when you then ride into shaded areas. Robust mechanism and smart piece of kit. This helmet has one of the highest SHARP safety ratings for a flip up helmet.

Good helmet, very practical and lighter than standard Evo 3.

Needed to replace my previous Evoline as was getting a bit old - the new Pro Carbon is so much lighter and improved movement for the chin guard is excellent. Don't think I could find a better helmet and at such a good price.
Service from Sportsbikeshop was superb as others have said - arrived very well packaged within 24 hours. What more can you ask for.

This is a replacement for my previous Evoline 3 but went for the Carbon which is even lighter. An amazing helmet that is so versatile and the fact that it can be worn as an open face is really good. It was also easy to fit my Scala Rider as the lining pops out and the side walls have plenty of space to fit the unit. The service from Sportsbikeshop was amazing - best price around, ordered one day delivered early the next - what more could you ask for.

Recently purchased this helmet ready for a tour of the Alpine passes, it is by far the best flip helmet I've tried. The freedom to wear the helmet open face with the chin bar fully out the way is great. The carbon fibre shell is incredibly light considering the moving parts in the helmet and the mechanism is good and easy to operate. One word of warning though this helmet seems to size up slightly smaller around the front of the head compared to the standard Evoline series 3. After trying a large on in a shop I decided to order the carbon version but found it uncomfortably tight around the front of the head with little room in the pads in this area for give. I exchanged it for the XL, which was a painless process. As always Sportbikeshop excelled at customer service and delivery. The XL fits well and is if anything still slightly snug. Sorry I'm unable to comment on wind noise or performance on the road as I'm still wearing the helmet around the flat to ensure the fit is good enough for a few hours in the saddle at a time.

This is as my titles the best helmet I have ever owned, and I have been biking for about 43 years so I remember not having to wear an helmet at all, this helmet is amazing,light, comfortable, fits so good, it actually fit to your head You can feel the quality as soon as you pick it up and even more when you put it on and does it look cool in either full face or with the chin flipped over, if I had to mark it out of 10 it would an 11,as I said at the beginning Best Helmet Ever,treat your self you won't be disappointed

Delivery was spot on and now I have had chance to wear it can report it is very comfortable and light. Pretty quiet even though I ride a Harley!
